About Myself

After a few years of abstinence from Second Life, I decided to rent my own space in the German Metropolis Grid at the beginning of 2019. A very early and small version of Stark was born. In the middle of the same year, I moved to Kitely. Stark quickly grew into a 4x4 region. In February 2020, now together with Niki, we decided to move to ZetaWorlds, which had some advantages for us. With the move, we had to make some adjustments, as ZetaWorlds was and is always on the latest OS version. The population of Stark grew more and more. But more people also meant more server load and the 4x4 we had was reaching its performance limit. It started to get stressful because we had to constantly work on the sim to keep it running. In November 2021, Niki and I needed a break from OS and said goodbye. But it didn't last long. In April 2022, Stark went online again, but now with a completely different configuration. Together with the ZetaWorlds team, we tried out a new setup that made it possible to separate the main sim (event) from the residential sims. All of them run on different servers to distribute the workload as much as possible. This new configuration was the breakthrough. From now on, all sims ran with good performance and without server-side lag. In 2023, Niki took the same configuration for her own Stark North District region. Now we are a region with 13 var sims, so 52 sims in single size.
Together with Manda, who we met in mid-2022, we are the Stark family. We are constantly working on our sims to create new interesting content for you to roleplay and party with.
