Context and era? All the farmers I know wear pretty regular clothes. Lots of jeans and t-shirts, maybe with a plaid shirt/jacket/shacket over top. Some kind of hat for the sun. Just find rubber boots because that's very important. And carry a bucket. Never know when you'll need a bucket.
