Found a parking space for the X-Wing over at the store. Flew her over from Luna Starbase after giving her a new PBR paint job. Might be time again to give her some exercise flying across the grid.

Made by Lain Iwakura of Iwakura Systems and scripted by Armenious Horada. I helped Lain with the model upload issues and some of the texturing and also helped with flight testing. They have some interesting hud, weapons, and flight characteristics. Armenious has moved on to other projects outside of Opensim and Lain is no longer making the models though she is still on Kitely. Their entire inventory of about 20 ships was given to me as a trust to preserve. I'll eventually display them all at Starbase.

While you're here, explore the grounds to discover breathtaking new sculptures by Cherry Manga, Tina Bey, and Remmy Ravenhurst.

At 1 PM SLT, the sultry sounds of Forest Azure will continue the party as we celebrate the incredible talent of these artists and the vibrant community that makes it all possible.

"Obeisance" is a striking sculpture that symbolizes the delicate balance between reverence and connection. The fluid, intertwined forms suggest a deep, almost ritualistic act of respect, as if two entities are bowing to one another in mutual acknowledgment. The bold curves and flowing lines evoke a sense of movement, capturing the essence of a moment frozen in time.

The exhibit will open on Sunday, September 29, starting at noon grid time, featuring the vibrant and gorgeous Rogue Galaxy, followed by the beautiful Forest Azure at 1 PM. We had a third performer scheduled, but they can’t make it. If anyone is interested in filling that slot, either as a singer or DJ, please reach out to me.

Also opening is a collaborative exhibit by visual artist Cherry Manga and audio artist Nico Kalani on the Special Projects region, connected to the gallery. You can walk over or take a raft to explore their work.

At Le Beau Retrouvé, one of our goals is to bring the community together to appreciate and create art in Open Sim. We believe in supporting all artists, whether you're well-established or just starting out. Your work will always be handled with respect and displayed to its best advantage.

We encourage everyone to participate in this exhibit and future ones. I can’t wait to see what you’ve created! Thank you for being part of this journey.

Good Day, Friends!

I’m often asked, “What happens to the art when it’s taken down to make room for a new exhibition?” My response has always been that select works from each artist are preserved and moved to another gallery space, becoming part of a permanent exhibition that contributes to OpenSim’s evolving history. Up until now, that was only a vision—a future project in my mind.

I’m thrilled to announce that vision has finally come to life with The Archive Collection. While the name may be straightforward, it leaves no mystery about the treasures inside! 😊

I’ve included some photos—one of them shows me standing in front of the building, to give you a sense of its scale. To enhance your visit, I’ve also added a grand piano I uploaded and added a variety of scripted music that you can play by touching the keys while enjoying the art. There’s even a version of the piano with animation options available at my shop.

As we approach September, those of you with art ready for display are welcome to bring it by the gallery anytime. If you’re not already in the group, please let me know so I can add you to the correct role so you can rez.

I’m incredibly excited about this exhibition and, from what I’ve seen so far, it promises to be a feast for all our senses! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

The Lotus Club is now available at the Emporium! Modeled after the original club at Luxor, this one comes fully loaded with accessories and can be modified and copied. The base size is 160m x 110m. Click on the Egyptian sign in the lobby to get to the display area.

New at the shop! A simple teleporter gives you access to each floor including the roof of this Observation Tower. I add new items all the time that don't always make the news. Look for the "New" signs glowing in red. The tower can be found near the pyramids. See you soon!

In my desert journey, I came upon an abandoned petrol station in a ghost town. I didn't dare seek shelter there, but slept across the road on the warm ground. I gave it the light of day, but does it look better? I still feel unease...

One of my mother's favorite flowering bushes was the Forsythia with it's bright gold flowers and lime green leaves she often cut a few branches and put them in a vase of water on the dining room table, it was simple but very pretty. So I decided to make a Forsythia bush and make it available to all who would like one, it could make great hedges or privacy walls, it's mesh and resizable and only one prim. You can find it in our ''Garden Center" here at the mall. Blessings and much love, Lavia
PS I upgraded the bush to be totally 3D which is more prims but well worth it for how pretty it looks, it's now 10 prims instead of 1 but the first one looked cheep this one actually looks real.

As everyone knows ufo's are everywhere. TV shows are rampant with bug-eyed toothless people who swear they seen one. Based on world wide ufo reporting we are getting visited on earth about 8 million times a year... Either that or a LOT of people are LYING for the sake of LYING. "I wuz standin in uh field with bubba and milford, when all uh sudden a brite lite comes down out the sky an it kep on gittin closer an closer. We dun did try to git sum pictures but are camera was messed up so we got this fuzzy out of focus grainy 1932 film exposure usin granny hawkins camera. Y'all bleev at don't ya? I sware we ain lyin! Y'all bleev me don't ya? Sure nuff, Sho' did...."
Even worse are the liars who SWEAR on their life that they were abducted and probed in their anuses. I can just see the aliens now. "Zyphod let's poke around in this ones butthole for a while, for no good reason whatsoever. I mean, like, we just flew 30 trillion miles from our home planet to look inside buttholes, so get some good pictures and for Dylarg's sake, don't use granny hawkins camera!"

Visit the Sunvibes workshop to get this colorful effect using a "mandala flower" texture.

Use the "Particle Corner" option on the TP pad menu - if you have probs finding it - let me know :) The box includes a typer, and rezzable effects that you can attach to your avatar too. All full perm - edit as needed.

To all those who can script or who would know where to find a script I need help. I would like to find a script that can check that several items have been placed into a container like a box or bag. Is there anything like that about and where could I get a copy pls?

IN THE BEGINNING . . .

I am going to be using items from around open sim for the VivoSim system which used to be Satyr Farms, then Quintonia Farm System. You can still intertwine the Satyr & Quintonia with VivoSim System as they are founded from the original Satyr. I am going to be making add On's for this system to enhance it. I will be giving the products that I make away for free.

Buzzy encourages us to modify the items to enhance it. My goal is to have the biggest farm in Open Sim.

This is JUST the beginning!

I do hope that you will come to my region to visit & give some constructive criticism about what I can do to enhance my ever growing farm. There will be suggestion boxes throughout my region.
