The Hop link didn't work for me but a map search for "sciattisigrid.it:8002/SciattiShopClothes/116/123/22" got me there without problem.

I think for some even myself at times, it is the lelutka skins not being clearly marked for the Evox and Evo versions. It is changable in the R.Lion huds but wonder if everyone is aware of it.

What version did you update from? .9.2?
Yes, I always wait for the new releases before I update. Too often and I miss every update.
Ah, from 9.2.2^^

@CyberGlo did you catch the message Dan left for everyone about NOT clearing the region cache?

Assets and Daemons - OSgrid News

UPDATE: We are going to bring the grid back online 'provisionally' with some assets sequestered offline until the conversion completes. For the best experience, do not clear your region caches as there are older assets unavailable for a few months.

thx you ) and hope your well

Yes, while that is true. It will not show what is actually missing from your inventory and your build. This is just in case you want to know what is actually missing from your inventory, in case that wasn't clear. Some day you may find way too late that some items did not get brought back, so it's best to find out what they are and go and get them while people that have said items are still around and playing the game on whatever grid they are from. For example specialty stores on other grids that you got items from that are no longer in your inventory and may or may not show up once all the dust settles. Think of it as a safety feature. Example: I have taken my grid down and formatted the ssd as a linux file server. So all the gadgets and oars I made are gone now, except where a few people here and there may have copies.

I think a lot of that group thinking was initiated by the lying legacy media's.

Sorry to hear it is closing up. You have some unique items there that aren't to be found elsewhere and though one may not need a particular item now, as one lives and an evolves in virtual, there often comes a time when a particular item may suddenly become a necessity and will no longer be available.

Did you have issues with Misfit residents on your grid? If so, what was the attraction they were coming for?
the point of my post is that i couldn't verify if the avatar was an adult avi or child avi, the grid is known for child avis. I recently found out its al a major pedo place and i dont want that at my grid. recently they were coming for my furniture vault.

People ought to realize that there are multiple ways a hypergrid jump can fail without the grid jumped from, having been banned. Not every admin checks their contact e-mails regularly so one shouldn't be quick to assume their grid has been banned but try alternative ways to get to the destination.

they have every grid banned but one, other have confirmed this for me.

Even the Misftiz grid states on the home page that only residents of Infinite Grid can HG teleport there. Infinite Grid seems as unsavoury as Misfitz from the limited amount of information I've gleaned. There was a rather heated discussion about Misfitz in Hypergrid Business a few years ago.

I dont recall that article but i know what comes from misfits and i just cant risk it exspecially not being able ot teleport to the grid to verify there adult avatars.

@mistressdalgato once again. It's not 'banning' it would be virtually usless to go one by one and ''ban' each grid.
They have HG visitors disabled with exceptions. Might sound like the same, but it isn't: it isn't personal with each grid, just an overall default.
Also, the reason of the 'but one', is because they have a very tight cross-grid relationships with that grid, ensuring consistency on their policies (mitigating anything close to potentiallty dangerous) - and a similar approach to safe-keeping.

@Arielle in this case she is 'right' - MG is a private sim and has incoming HG restricted by default. It's a safe haven for smaller avis, and we know the over view on them so... it's not random, and makes it a safe space for them.

I saw your post in the Box shortly after I posted here and thought of editing or deleting my post but realized it was general enough it could apply to other cases too. So often people cry they have been banned when likely in many cases it is simply a matter of the hypergrid being wonky but that you for posting your response,
liked(2)
Nope, what you said still applies. HG-ing is WEIRD AF. Sometimes people will raise tickets in DH like 'OMG can't get to R. Lion!!!'...and it can be a thousand things... Like... I think we all know to go back to somewhere in your grid of origina you first click home button, then go to another region - and even then sometimes worth restarting too..
So yeah, totally valid

Yes, quite often i have to do a double jump...to the main grid and then the region. It's not something that i'd take personally. Or a region might be restarting. Then there are admins that go into revenge mode and do ban whole grids for the misdemeanors of a few...that's collective punishment

What I've heard is that sometimes places in OS are too far apart, so you need to jump to an intermediate place first. I don't understand how "distance" is measured and what distance is "too much." But I have found that a one-two jump can work.

I think you can do that with Cool Viewer also. That at least is more current for Opensim.

I like coolviewer but I had more luck with... my hacky setup (running a public server and connecting to it on my lan)... with Singularity. coolviewer had more issues with parcel management, for me at least.

Nicely done. You've really raised the bar for showing off a region. Was that using Bullet physics rather than Ubode?
Thank you. Yes, we still have Bullet ::-)

Wondered about that as I noticed a little hesitation at the stair climbing and wondered if was video lag or physics. Ubode is smoother for stair climbing.
