Okay so 1024x1024 greyscale png where 122 122 122 is sea level. Sounds easy enough. Will try!

I could be wrong (but it's already happened once this year, so that oughta be my quota), but I think it won't fundamentally matter at which point in the 256 scale you put the sea, as long as you have enough room either side to move. You can just adjust the terrain (and / or water) height later ;-)

Thanks @Candm I was totally trying SL's template lol @Marianna thanks! will read all of that

For os, completely disregard anything to do with sl's use of heightmaps. Opensim can import / use them, but they are still broken.

Way easier to just create pure and simple ones and load them via a sim console.

Oh.... one more neat trick...

You can also load an oar with the --no-objects argument. That way, you only get the terrain ;-)

Fine then!!!! More neat tricks!!!!one!!

You can then use the sim console to issue a range of commands to toy with the terrain. All sortsa stuffs - too much to mention here. Just see http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Server_Commands for a start.

I've taken some oars, used the --no-objects arg to load just the terrain, then played around around to get some stuff that's pretty cool for intended purposes ;-)

For a 4x4 specifically. I can see how it works roughly for 256x256 but not sure for 1024x1024...

Perhaps unsurprisingly, for a 1024 just make it 1024x1024 instead of 256 :-)

Oh, and for clarity, each pixel in the source image represents a meter inworld. The curves, etc, are simply (usually badly) interpolated.

I did 'Ewww' out loud when I was using that example, though...But wanted to make it extreme.
I honestly hope they never make it here

Do you mean you hope that Catwa never makes it there?

To OS...honestly, having Lelutka, why anything else? There are too many heads already lol!

Yep! But I couldn't get along with Lelutka on OpenSim, so unfortunately, I still wear Catwa Catya. I wish I could manage to wear Lelutka. Thank you for all you do! ❤️

What's the issue? Check R. Lion they have some of the best versions, with hud (no material layers, though). I might bring some skins, for Lelutka though, but if you want something specific, let me know

I think for some even myself at times, it is the lelutka skins not being clearly marked for the Evox and Evo versions. It is changable in the R.Lion huds but wonder if everyone is aware of it.

I honestly don't know - I wanted to focus on men stuff coz they tend to 'get less', and was hoping someone else focused on female stuff. Like I said to @Pilar yesterday, it's a matter of time/bandwidth...can't do men, female, adult furniture, decor, landscaping.... huh! Each pack of Dali is taking me 2-3 full days

yea its just that ive noticed that nobody really does upload body and head skins separate to where one could really use your body skins. They all come put together where you only need to add the ear. I dont think i have ever seen a place on opensim that has them separate.

Worst-case-scenario, you can always capture the UUID of the Head texture of the full skin you are using and 'paste it' on the body one

Huh, I guess I have always brought my own and never really looked into it in OS? It would make sense for premade full avis, but other than that....
