@SnoopKing Aww appreciated... I have been focusing on adult animations and now on skin stuff for men (coz they are always left behind). I started doing some decor but then I realised Richard had it, just hadn't 'seen' it at the store :D

I'm curious on this vs. what OSG uses and why is the maintenance taking so long?

Osgrid does not charge for an account. So like Wolf's post they can't just buy more. There population is higher, therefore more assets.

We don't charge for accounts. But we do charge for land although some residents do give out free land.

Same thing Wolf, account or land. Is still money coming in, no matter how you look at it. Osgrid has a yearly auction, to raise money. Osgrid has 16000 population, active or not. The assets are still transferred over.

Yes we have a different finance model for our servers, but they have to be paid for.

The version is the gold one, by the way, even if the images show black and purple.

Yep, definitely blocking access is only way to 100% sure.

not entirely what i meant, with an open grid i can go there and see what the avi looks like, with a closed grid I cannot so again blocking them access is the only way to protect the members of my grid.

@mistressdalgato once again. It's not 'banning' it would be virtually usless to go one by one and ''ban' each grid.
They have HG visitors disabled with exceptions. Might sound like the same, but it isn't: it isn't personal with each grid, just an overall default.
Also, the reason of the 'but one', is because they have a very tight cross-grid relationships with that grid, ensuring consistency on their policies (mitigating anything close to potentiallty dangerous) - and a similar approach to safe-keeping.

@Arielle in this case she is 'right' - MG is a private sim and has incoming HG restricted by default. It's a safe haven for smaller avis, and we know the over view on them so... it's not random, and makes it a safe space for them.

I saw your post in the Box shortly after I posted here and thought of editing or deleting my post but realized it was general enough it could apply to other cases too. So often people cry they have been banned when likely in many cases it is simply a matter of the hypergrid being wonky but that you for posting your response,

Nope, what you said still applies. HG-ing is WEIRD AF. Sometimes people will raise tickets in DH like 'OMG can't get to R. Lion!!!'...and it can be a thousand things... Like... I think we all know to go back to somewhere in your grid of origina you first click home button, then go to another region - and even then sometimes worth restarting too..
So yeah, totally valid

Yes, quite often i have to do a double jump...to the main grid and then the region. It's not something that i'd take personally. Or a region might be restarting. Then there are admins that go into revenge mode and do ban whole grids for the misdemeanors of a few...that's collective punishment

What I've heard is that sometimes places in OS are too far apart, so you need to jump to an intermediate place first. I don't understand how "distance" is measured and what distance is "too much." But I have found that a one-two jump can work.

No grids are 'banned' from MG. It's a private sim.
And given your previous comments about small avis - why would you even want to go there?
no one said I did want to visit but i wont stop my residents from visiting, the point was if my residents cant visit, aside from keeping them safe then the ban was necessary.

Of course, your decisions. Same as in DH we don't ban OSG even though they do have us banned.
Lots of choices.

if there are offending avatars from dh grid i will ban those but not the whole grid, i have not banned anyone from that dh though. I entirely disagree on os banning dh

Either way, what I was trying to get to is: I honestly don't think it's anything specific to grids, at a technical level. Don't think they have hardcoded which ones can't but the other way around.

I get what your saying, I just have no way to verify if there adult avis coming to my grid.
