I just watched this. Neat scripting challenge! I'm eager to see what else you come up with.

After this project, I believe I can confidently say I've reached the pinnacle of scripting challenges.

Mari, I just visited this place, took my time and wandered from one end to another, and still I'm certain I missed aspects! I love the detail and your use of NPCs. I wrote a review, but I'm definitely going to need that Wizard of Oz PTSD support group, especially after losing my dog Toto to that gangrenous old witch.

Thank you for stopping by Frank! As for dear Toto, well... he’s quite the little explorer! 🐶✨ It is a new land to him, and he’s been busy sniffing out every hidden path and secret nook. Yes, that gangrenous old witch managed to snatch him up (she’s always up to no good!), but clever little Toto found a side door and made his great escape from her castle.

Keep your eyes peeled when you return to Emerald City—you’ll find him safe and sound by the Kansas house, waiting faithfully for Dorothy. ❤️🏡

So...so you're saying I DON'T need to go all John Wick on the witch? I was just about to organize the Lollipop Kids into a platoon and storm the castle, laying waste to any who block our route.

But I guess I can return to Kansas instead.

LOL! 🤣 Well, the Lollipop Kids would absolutely LOVE to storm the castle with you—those little sweethearts may be pint-sized, but trust me, they’re scrappy! 🍭💪 (I heard they’ve been practicing battle chants to the tune of “We Represent the Lollipop Guild” 🎶⚔️).

I'm dating myself here, but this post immediately made me think of this old classic Country song from my childhood:

John Anderson "Swingin'"

Are ruby red slippers mandatory? I look goofy in them, but if I must...

This is based on the orig Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum her slippers are Silver :)

Whaaaat? Is this a Mandela Effect thing? I always thought she wore Ruby Red Slippers and clicked them together? "There's no place like home"

Is my entire childhood memory a lie?

Only a lie if you didn't read :) I chose to use Silver Slippers instead of Ruby because I’m staying true to L. Frank Baum’s original book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, where Dorothy’s slippers were silver. The Ruby Slippers became iconic through the 1939 movie adaptation, but in the book, the Silver Slippers had their own magical charm and symbolism. I enjoy honoring Baum’s original vision and bringing a classic literary detail into my creation. The Ruby Slippers are copyrighted and are part of the movie's intellectual property. By using Silver Slippers, I’m honoring the public domain version from Baum’s book and avoiding any copyright issues tied to the movie design.

I just learned something! And no, I never read the book, but I watched the movie enough times as a kid. I fully credit it for implanting a deep-seeded fear of tornadoes in my psyche!

Yes, it had a lasting effect on me too! I’ve been forever haunted by the sight of older women on bicycles—thanks, Miss Gulch!

We might those are some wild monkeys! You will be walking along and they fly out of the Crystal Cavern, and from the trees. You need to be walking to see all the action~ I think you will enjoy seeing this sim.

Luna, does it make a difference how the inventory is organized? For example, making sure there are as few items and folders in the root folder? I've observed this seems to make a difference.

That question is beyond my pay grade I'm afraid. Have no idea. I have an OSGrid avatar, but I keep her inventory completely stripped down to make it easier when attending hypergrid events.

Nicely designed island! I like the high-quality mature palm trees and the boardwalk have-buried in eroded sand. Really a pleasant island--or two islands, really.

Well stated, Remmy.

It forever fascinates me that rather than recognizing there are legitimate grievances and concerns, those who are ideologically-driven seem unable to pause and ask, "Why do these people choose differently than I? Are they truly all racists?"
You may not be a racist Frank, but by your actions/inactions you support racists. If the extreme far-left were a present and genuine threat you can be sure that we would take note, and where necessary, oppose them. Most of us are not that ideologically driven, we just stand up for decency and Enlightenment values, values that saw the establishment of the USA. No one has called anyone a racist here, but those of you arguing about distractions, for that is what your claimed 'fears' amount to are doing the work of the racists and the fascists. I'm sure that the neo-fascists now taking over the USA are really pleased that they have yet another useful idiot in you.

It's very telling indeed that you would rather spend time here trolling those of us taking a stand rather than opposing the fr-right, the racists and fascists.
