Good morning and Happy New year! I think this is a very valid topic to discuss. I am fairly (about 6 months) new to Opensim. And Marianna is right, it does feel intimidating to see all the amazing work out there, which is why so far I have stuck to being a decorator and landscaper, and modding some of my finds with my own textures, ripping walls out of buildings, that sort of thing. But to create from scratch.. even though I can as long as it's prims/textures etc. I find it hard to start. Why even try to build when there's people out there who do it so much better than I will be able to at least for years to come. I have already benefitted from the "What are you looking for group" which put me in touch with places to get stuff I could not find anywhere on my own, so a big thank you to Nico for that. For me, a Discord group where I could just ask people with way more knowledge than myself for help with issues I encounter would be super helpful. But I also need to be realistic. What I have also found is that the whole "Sharing s caring" concept doesn't go for everyone. Even the 100% ripped from SL stuff that every freebie place offers is often offered as contents only, so without the box, or no transfer and even no modify sometimes making it impossible for others to "share it forward". On one of my first days here someone said to me "it's Opensim, it has more clubs than people" and for a large part, I find this to be true for stores and creations, too. So yes, I fear an initiative like this would wither and die. But I would also LOVE to be proven wrong. Just my 2 cents.

Sciattisgrid https://opensimworld.com/hop/93159 has a few of the Lelutka heads out in a 4.0 version with HUD and some options the R.Lion heads don't have. It's a work in progress, they say they are working on bringing more of them. Fastest way to find them is to search for "Avalon" in area search when you land, then TP right to them.

A very vocal one, but still a really small group. it seems bigger than it is because they tend to create multiple alts and accounts here. 5 days old = almost certainly someone we've seen here before being an idiot. I have visited your place on multiple occasions and you did some amazing work there. So thank you, I realize this is not said enough. I also know Adore and gentle Fire grid and they never did anything that even remotely upset me. I've tried clicking the link in your post, and also pasting into the map then "find" like shown in your video. It keeps saying region not found. I have also tried the 'via the map" method, leaving out the "hop" bit, and also tried replacing "hop" by "Http:" .

Jupiter you are a fountain of Opensim knowledge, thank you so much! I am mostly looking for Athena stuff for women and Gianni/Adonis/Apollo for men. I know the Legacy/LaraX etc. things are hard/impossible to find and I have no issues with buying those and bringing them to Opensim. As for the older stuff.. I plan to over time retexture things and/or create outfits with multiple items from multiple makers. It's a work in progress really, but I need to start somewhere so i figured to get boxed stuff so at least there is some content whilst I work over time on doing something a bit more original :) I will check out the stores you mentioned, thank you!
