when I read your comment about the HIE, I only thought one thing: "What's the point?"
Who cares what the Avas wore but you? Who but you is wondering whether the Ava's outfit discredits the whole event? Because that's what your oh-so-innocuously thrown question implies. "Professor, what you described about the theory of relativity was incredible. But your tie didn't match. Excuse me, can we please discuss your outfit?" Hahahaha
You have no idea how incredibly professional this event was planned and executed. You haven't listened to the speakers who have been preparing for this for weeks and then you post your very important question to all of us: What kind of outfit were they wearing?
Why can't people be active in SL and opensim?
And the first-class artistic performances - have you seen them? Do you think they come from SL Marketplace?
Now I come back to the first question: What's the point?
I'm guessing it's envy and that someone wanted to make herself/himself important.
Come on - do it! Organize something equivalent to HIE. I promise I come by and take a closer look to see whether you made your shoes yourself.

The point is exactly what has been written multiple times in the comments. They present themselves as original content creators, promoting their work at an event called "expo," but if you love original creations in OpenSimulator, how can you have an avatar that violates someone else's work? Don't you find it inconsistent? So, MAN or WOMAN that I am (it doesn't make much difference, we're all people... and by the way, I am a man, if you're interested, even though the distinction you brought up between a man or a woman demonstrates a lack of intelligence and respect towards others...), your comment is truly, useless. You should learn to read better and understand the concepts behind the comments. Let me ask you a question: have you seen their YouTube videos? What do they say about creations? Where is the respect for creators? What does it matter if they come from the Second Life marketplace? (It would have been better if they did come from there, right? It would show respect for original creators since they consider themselves original creators too.) Do you now understand the concept explained in this simple way, or do you still not get that an original creator should respect their colleagues? No? You still don't understand it?

I don't have many kind words for those who differentiate between men and women on an intellectual level and repeat the same mistake, so yes, you need to apologize for your stupidity, because stupidity is truly embarrassing when it's offensive and sexist, but especially when you can't respond coherently to some comments.

Btw, Priscilla loves to visit my grid once or twice a month. I'm sure he reads all the posts here, so I wave to my "dear" regular guest. I think he likes my grid and in fact he does only, what I allow: I allow moving a item, he does, I allow rezzing, he does. Yes, Priscilla, you are annoying and you love it, don't you? Loru, you are correct. Priscilla does only what you allow. Priscilla cannot turn your prims into balls, unless Priscilla has god mode powers on your sim. If you think Priscilla can do this, then you are being tricked by the owner of your land - who may, in fact, be an alt of Priscilla. After speaking with ubit it is currently impossible for an avatar to take god powers on someone elses land now. The old hacker viewers like darkstorm, hydrastorm, black dragon, and such simply do not work any more as the vulnerability has been patched with a permanent fix. So Priscilla aka vincent, unless you wish me to release your last name, you will stop being a jerk and leave people alone, and I DARE YOU TO CHANGE MY PRIMS IN MY GRID INTO BALLS. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T. IT IS ALL HYPE AND TRICKERY.

One reason for the trouble the Otters face may be that Otterland isn't running a recent stable vanilla version of OpenSim. It's running an old, now-obscure fork that seems to be OpenSim 0.8.2.0 or older with a few things from OpenSim up to 0.9.1.0 backported by the maintainer of the fork. You can tell because Otterland is one of the last grids that don't support BoM yet. And I guess there are some more things it doesn't support, not to mention the many security fixes from over three or four years that are missing.
I'm pretty sure Priscilla not only already knows all of this, for you find out the instance you teleport in, but actively exploits it.
The best way to harden Otterland would be the difficult and painful process of first switching the grid from that fork to vanilla, if that's possible at all, and then upgrading it at least to the current stable version.

obwohl wir uns nur oberflächlich kannten, hat mich dein plötzliches Fortgehen sehr getroffen. Ich habe dich sehr geschätzt, u.a. auch, weil deine Art mit Menschen umzugehen so wohltuend war: oft mit einem Augenzwinker und immer zugewandt und klar. So werde ich dich auch in Erinnerung behalten. Einen Moment lang möchte ich innehalten und dann.....ja, dann geht das Leben weiter - mit uns, mit dir und mit all den anderen lieben Menschen, die wir hier schon verloren haben.

Ich bin von D.W. ohne Gespräch oder Info vorher einfach aus de FL geschmissen worden. Wir haben oft im TS ehrliche, offen Gespräche geführt. In einem öffentlichen Post wurde dann allen, also auch mir, erklärt, alle, die aus der FL sind, sollte mal drüber nachdenken, weswegen. Ich habe keine Ahnung. Ich habe mich immer fair verhalten. Ich erkläre hier aber mal ganz öffentlich, dass man mich auf diese Weise nur einmal aus der FL entfernt. Dies ist auch alles, was ich mal dazu sagen möchte und reden will ich darüber auch nicht mehr. Ich bleibe freundlich und fair, aber ansonsten ist der Drops gelutscht. Das ist aber nur eine Sache zwischen Herrn Wolf und mir, mit euch anderen ist es wie immer. Alles gut.
