When you start building, the blank OpenSim region becomes your canvas, a digital palette where each prim, texture, and script is a brushstroke. We're testing PBR textures, and the results are stunning! This ring, originally created in Second Life, showcases Opensim's full PBR support, bringing every detail to life. Interestingly, when I upload my jewelry to Second Life, the scale appears much larger, but in Opensim, it matches the exact size I designed. This ring was one of my first creations and earned me an Avi Choice nomination for Best New Jewelry Store in SL! I had to nano that ring though because of the huge scale and would not reduce down to the SL Avatar. In opensim it has worked beautifully thanks to @FerdFrederix~ PBR is in its earliest stages but I am loving the results so far. This will be in the store soon. 💍💗 This image is inworld with Sunrise lighting. Lighting affects the color of the metal if the sky is red orange sunset the gold will be red, Fred pointed this out to me yesterday, so a bright mid day you will see the brightest results. I have fun playing with the sky to see what the metal will look like each sky it looks different. Fred's ring compared to mine though that he textured is beyond beautiful, he made the diamond glossy, and translucent and it is just beautiful, so gemstones can be transparent with a tint of color, so many options and we are having fun! All this is coming soon...

Wednesday at Midnight was such a fun project we have decided to keep it up! That way @ferdfrederix and I can continue to create cool props for this region we had so much fun! Thank you Ferd!

I had some time to play with PBR thank you @FerdFrederix for suggesting I try it, and as you can see it makes the jewelry look so much better!! Nice! But that means I have my work cut out for me, I have lots of jewelry to update. Lydia Deetz, our enigmatic NPC, vanished in a burst of dark energy, her form dissolving as if swallowed by the shadows she had always been so drawn to. But the darkness was not her end—it was a gateway. Moments later, she reappeared in a different realm, her eyes filled with the knowledge of the in-between, her spirit rekindled. She lived again, more attuned to the strange and supernatural, with a deeper understanding of the secrets that only death and rebirth could reveal. Is it possible for an NPC to teleport? Yes but the true question is how did Lydia make her way to the door that visits God and gives her life? Ferd went to that door last night to teleport down to main sim and it was "stuck" so he investigated to see that our dear Lydia was there in the coffin alive again and stuck there in the coffin. When he reset her the teleport worked again. We have a true paranormal event that happened here Mwaaahaaha because I only placed this NPC in Beetlegeuse house and the Coffee shop. We are actually being haunted by Lydia how cool is that? 👁️👁️

In a mist-shrouded corner of the eerie neighborhood, where the line between the living and the afterlife blurs, a new home emerges next to the infamous Addams Family mansion. This house, a bizarre mix of Victorian architecture and Gothic grandeur, appears almost overnight, much to the curiosity of the Addams clan. Gomez and Morticia, ever intrigued by the unusual, decide to greet their new neighbors.

As they approach, the door creaks open, revealing none other than the ghost with the most—Beetlejuice, in all his chaotic glory. With a mischievous grin and a puff of green smoke, he introduces himself, reveling in the sheer oddity of the situation.

I catch the 3HG Studios bus today and my driver is this cool, magical troll-like guy with huge feet straddling the gas and brake pedals. He flashes this wild-eyed grin and shouts, “Get in and buckle up!”

Before I can even find my seat, he’s spinning the bus out of control and diving straight into the ocean. We’re cruising underwater, octopuses scattering as we zoom past. A question I often get asked is, "Why are some OARS exclusive for Dreamgridders only, I thought this was a free and opensource platform with sharing?" Yes it is however, the reason some OARs are exclusive to DreamGrid users is that they contain purchased items with licenses that must be respected. Or the Creators of these OARS only offered them to Dreamgridders it is their license to share with us exclusively. By limiting the distribution of these OARs to the DreamGrid platform, we ensure that we are honoring those licensing agreements.
