About Myself

I love building and creating beautiful environments. Creating something from a cube is like magik! I am an artist, creator, and weirdo, not in a bad way. I like creepy things, but not gore so much. :) I like making friends, though I am an introvert. I am comfortable with people that I know well and they know me and still like me anyway. :) Owner of the new Tenth Dimension Grid.

My Interests

Building, art, music, reading, writing, history, science, learning new things, and talking to interesting and unique people, even though I am an introvert. I open up to the right people. I force myself to be social because when you get right down to it, it is the people and the love we share that are more important than the things we leave behind. I like kind people. It is easier and more pleasant for everyone else to be a nice person.

I'm Looking For

Artists, Sculptors, Photographers, Music makers, and Creative people! Come be part of the Le Beau Retrouve Art Gallery Family.

Favorite Quote

"Only tears of sorrow can wash out the stain of shame, only pangs of suffering can blot out the fires of lust." The Red Spider

Music I Like

Everything but Rap. Music should make love to your ears, not torment them.

Films I Like

Too many!! I have a wide variety of interests from sappy romance to hardcore horror/fantasy/Sci-fi to thought-provoking documentaries.

Books I Like

Anything by Piers Anthony.
I love lots of types and genres and authors though. I enjoy books that teach me and allow me to discover something new. Usually, the ones that are heavy and you sit on a coffee table to make yourself look smart for company. Yes, I read those too! I used to read cereal boxes, but I outgrew that! Read and you will love your brain! :)

My Heroes

My sis, Ms. Kitty/Kal. She makes me proud!
My Mama. She made me strong.

OpenSimulator Version

Who cares? It will change.

Viewer Version

Who cares? Same answer whatever is out atm and works for me.

Hardware

It works.

I am pleased to announce the opening of the Selea Core Store, located in the southeast corner of the Star Ravenhurst Designs region. This project, which I dedicated over two weeks to last November, aims to preserve the body of work created by Selea Core, who left Open Sim unexpectedly around 2016-17.

At that time, Victor DeAngelo, Ms. Kal, and I gathered all the available Selea Core products. Victor also sourced additional items, re-boxing and labeling them since many were originally stored in folders rather than their original packaging. These items were subsequently offered at his shop.

Years later, I observed that many of these boxes had migrated to different locations, and several had become corrupted, containing duplicates or broken items. Consequently, I undertook the task of meticulously cleaning, repairing, and reboxing them with new labels to distinguish my collection from others. Additionally, I included rare Elven items from my collection that are not widely distributed elsewhere.

While I strive for perfection, I acknowledge that some boxes may not be flawless. However, I assure you that the Selea Core boxes available at this shop are clean, up-to-date, and ready for you to take home.

Please note that Selea Core often used Rezzers for her houses and many of her scenes, typically designed for a single 1x1 SIM. You will need to adjust the script to match the size of your region for the rez box to function correctly. If you require assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Special thanks to Victor DeAngelo for helping to preserve the work, Jupiter Rowland for sharing his SC collection with me, and Ms. Kal for leaving my boxes in her sandbox all this time so I didn't lose the collection.

Are you an artist, photographer, or sculptor in the realm of Open Sim? If so, I extend a warm invitation to showcase your exceptional creations at Le Beau Retrouve, my forthcoming art gallery.

With only a few spaces left to adorn with your art, and ample room for sculptures both within the gallery and amidst the surrounding landscapes — whether along winding paths or visible from the tranquil rivers — there's boundless opportunity for your work to captivate and inspire.

Given the limited availability, I encourage you to reach out at your earliest convenience to explore the possibility of featuring your art in our opening exhibits. Please note, we're currently excluding AI-generated art for a future showcase.

Rest assured, you maintain full ownership of your creations. Rather than relinquishing them, I kindly request that you personally arrange their display upon joining our group. Moreover, you need not be confined to the same grid to participate and showcase your artistry.

As we anticipate our Grand Opening Party, complete with a lively DJ and festivities aplenty, I'm excited for the vibrant community that will converge to celebrate creativity and expression.

In preparation, please have a brief biography ready, providing insight into yourself and your artistic journey. Feel free to include landmark coordinates to your region or grid, as well as links to websites or any additional resources showcasing your portfolio.

Isn't this thrilling? I'm genuinely passionate about art and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with you. Looking forward to connecting soon!

My items are Full perm and always free. Thanks for looking! Have a fabulous Friday!! Or Sat for those already in the future). ::)

Ladies, start planning your outfits for the ball—it's going to be a fantastic event with a touch of magic!

We're thrilled to announce a new region to the gallery dedicated to special projects. The first installation will be a collaborative masterpiece by beloved visual and audio artists. Witness how they transform the space into something extraordinary!
Additionally, we've opened another region connected to the gallery, designed for creating art, networking, and collaboration. Simply reach out to me to join this vibrant community and bring your artistic visions to life. Both regions are accessible by raft from the Art Gallery grounds.

Please note, the Gallery is now on a new grid. Old landmarks won't work, so discard them and pick up a new one. At the landing point and within the gallery, you'll find a sign you can click for this ad and a new landmark. You will also need to rejoin the group. Please see Star to be put in the appropriate role.
Many heartfelt thanks for the continued support for Le Beau Retrouve.

So, what are you dreaming of?

This was one of my first builds when I came to Open Sim. I had to make all of the textures, and it wasn't very good as I was still green at building. Yesterday I remodeled and straightened walls and linked it all together except the garage door and the toilets with animations and I think the garbage can in the bathrooms. A couple of other things, so use your build window to rez and place. It is now in a box and for the first time, I am offering it for free for anyone that wants it. I am getting everything set up for sale as quickly as I can. If you can't get something, please reach out and I will be sure to get it to you. Thanks for stopping by, friends are always welcome!

Sacred Savanah
Amidst the ancient sands and beneath an ethereal orange sky that seems to hold the echoes of bygone battles, there lies a land born anew from the ashes of war and destruction. Here, in this sacred Savannah, nature and history intertwine in a delicate dance of resilience and regeneration.
As the sun dips low on the horizon, casting a warm, amber glow over the arid landscape, the land seems to exhale a collective sigh—a testament to the trials it has endured and the hope that now stirs within its depths. The scorched earth, once ravaged by conflict, now bears the promise of rebirth, as tender shoots of green push their way through the barren soil, reclaiming their rightful place in the sun.
In this landscape of renewal, a sanctuary arises—a haven for both endangered wildlife and priceless relics of antiquity. Here, beneath the watchful gaze of the ancient pyramids, elephants roam freely, their majestic forms silhouetted against the vibrant hues of the setting sun. Lions, once symbols of power and conquest, now find solace in the shadows of crumbling temples, their fierce spirits tempered by the wisdom of ages past.
But it is not only the animals that find sanctuary in this sacred land. Nestled amidst the dunes lie ancient ruins and forgotten tombs, relics of a civilization lost to time. Carved from the very bedrock of the earth, these monuments stand as silent witnesses to the ebb and flow of history, their weathered facades bearing the scars of countless generations.
Here, among the whispers of the wind and the shifting sands, the past is preserved and honored—a reminder of the enduring legacy of those who came before. As night falls and the stars emerge like jewels scattered across the heavens, the land seems to pulse with quiet, timeless energy—a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
Discover the Chapel of Tranquility: Your Sanctuary Awaits

Step into the Chapel of Tranquility, the perfect addition to your town. From the moment you enter, you’ll feel an immediate sense of peace and calm, enveloped by the sacred atmosphere of this serene space.

Unlike a traditional church, which serves as a gathering place for communal worship, a chapel is designed for personal reflection or small, intimate gatherings. Here, you can worship and reflect on your own terms—no need for a pastor or priest. This space is yours to experience in solitude or with a few close companions.

The chapel features a bell tower that chimes on the hour, adding a touch of timeless grace. You can also touch the bell to hear its resonant tone at any time. The benches offer a variety of animations, with two different poses in each of the four benches.

At the altar, you’ll find scripted animations to enhance your worship experience. The Eucharist plate and goblet are also scripted, allowing you to partake in communion with the Body of Christ (wafer) and the Blood of Christ (wine). Simply add either to immerse yourself in this sacred ritual.

To further enrich your experience, a leather-bound Bible, a Hymnal, and altar candles are included. All of these items are neatly boxed and placed beside the altar for your convenience.

The Chapel itself is available in a box located outside the entrance, and arrows on the street will guide you there. While visiting, take a moment to explore the other architectural wonders in the region—all handcrafted over the years and freely available to help you build your sim.

Made for my Christian friends, I hope you will enjoy this chapel as much as I did building it. Peace, Love, and Light! ~*Star*~

Hello Friends!

I am thrilled to announce that I have my own grid! It was time to expand my horizons, and for Le Beau Retrouvé to truly flourish, it needed the resources to bring my vision to life. My mission is to showcase the incredible talents of artists from all genres and media, along with our amazing DJs and singers in OpenSim during our events.

The gallery is a beautiful, peaceful place, a neutral territory open to all grids and all people. I hope it becomes a hub where artists and anyone else can meet, collaborate, and build a community of friends from all grids and countries. Perhaps our dream of world peace starts with us and our virtual worlds.

Land Of Xzar is also on the new grid for you to visit, and some exciting new regions will soon be open to the public. Please stop by and refriend me if you wish, as this is a new account and I will no longer be on the Genesis Roleplay Grid. Though I am no longer on Genesis, I support them as I do all grids in our community. I am thankful for the time I had and wish them well.

I am also deeply grateful for the overwhelming support I have received from my friends and the community. Your support has meant so much to me and has been an integral part of my journey.

So, what are you dreaming of?

Hello Friends! I have been busy working on my shop and have made this sweet stone house available. It comes with a stone wall you can use as well. I built it for Braewood Forest in The Land Of Xzar, so visit there if you would like to see it furnished with the things I made for it as the one at the mall is unfurnished. All should be copy if anyone wants, or ask me. I have included a kitchen you can place if you wish.
I have added a lot of landscaping items: planters with flowers, ground flowers and plants, and a beautiful collection of trees made with AI-generated textures. There are also some new water lilies to add to your ponds, as well as a wooden gazebo with a dance ball.
I make all of my content using sculpts and prims. The shop is full of decor and finishing pieces that help turn a house into a home.
Look for Star Ravenhurst Designs on the teleporter when you land.
Thanks for having a look! Big Hugs!!

Today I want to tell you about Haven of Memories and my Dear friend, Lavia Lavine who created it with her own builds as well as stuff from many talented folks in our Metaverse. One of her best talents in MHO is putting together "Scenes". One of her best qualities is her loving heart...and her orneriness. ;) This fountain was put together using her own stuff as well as many other talented creators' work. You can't tell by the photo but the water moves down the steps perfectly and she worked hard to make it happen. Amazing to see in person! It isn't linked so you can't just come and grab it. I am showing this to you because it is simply stunning and the whole region is peaceful, comforting, and beautiful for reflection, memories, and feeling close to your loved ones. What a beautiful Memorial Garden! You don't even have to have an account on the grid to have a memorial of your loved one here. The only requirement is that they lived a Virtual life on any grid in the Metaverse. It is a way for all of us to remember them in one place that we can visit at any time. I took this photo because I thought this was so beautiful and everyone should know that it is there for all of us!!! Thanks, Lavia!

New landscaping has arrived! I am obsessed! Meadows and bushes and trees and flowers! I put a big red glowing NEW sign above them. More architecture is now available as well. Thanks for visiting. All are welcome.

Some of my favorite dreams are actually nightmares. I have vivid dreams that feel so real, it's like I can hold them in my hands as I wake up screaming! I quickly write them down before they escape me. I’ve read that if you keep a dream journal, after a year, you might see that many of your dreams came true in some way. Having kept dream journals for years, I can confirm this is true for me. I’m a bit psychic, though not enough to win the lottery!
Some of you have shown me bits or given hints of your projects, and I know the results will be epic. This community has incredible talent, and I can't wait to see the art each of you create.
Le Beau Retrouve Art Gallery accepts art from novices to established artists, promising to handle your work with care and respect, showcasing it to its best advantage. We believe everyone should have a chance to express themselves, so whether you're new to creating art or a well-known artist, everyone has an equal opportunity to participate and become part of the Le Beau Retrouve Art Gallery family.
I’m about to start rearranging the gallery to make way for your amazing art for the fall exhibit. Starting next week, for those working on sculptures, please stop by and see me so we can decide where to showcase your pieces on the grounds. Those creating wall art, please stop by so we can determine the best space to show off your dreamscapes.
I can't wait to meet with each of you. Thank you for being part of the gallery and my journey as an art curator.

My exhibit consists of portraits I have taken of women who have contributed to Open Sim in significant ways, entitled, "Sculpting Prims: Female Visionaries In Open Sim." This exhibit is to honor and acknowledge the work of women that often goes unnoticed and shine a light on their many accomplishments.
My exhibit is only a part of the opening as we also have several talented artists exhibiting their work you don't want to miss.

On April 9th, the Board of Directors convened and resolved to augment its membership by two individuals, thereby ensuring a quorum. Subsequently, it was unanimously decided to extend membership offers to Unadecal Masala and Roland Francis. I am pleased to confirm that both candidates graciously accepted, and on April 11th, our inaugural board meeting took place, yielding fruitful outcomes.

The newly appointed board members will undertake pivotal responsibilities, including reviewing and adjudicating art submissions, voting on prospective projects, and contributing to strategic decisions concerning the gallery's operations. Additionally, they will engage in various board-related duties.

To foster creativity, we are excited to announce the integration of a dedicated workspace within the gallery premises, facilitated by a small sim. This space will serve as a collaborative hub for artists, providing an opportunity for mutual encouragement, support, and artistic synergy within the Open Sim community.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to Una and Roland on their appointments. Your expertise and commitment will undoubtedly enrich our board, and we eagerly anticipate your contributions.

Arial view of Dragonspire. All of my region, The Land Of Xzar, is parceled, even the rivers so the places in the novel can all be named. Enable shared environment, though I keep messing with the skies. I can't make up my mind. Oh! And have your sound on. Though there are still silent pockets through the land. It all takes time...still building the last of it.
There are two entrances directly to Devil's Fork, the back way in, from Dragonspire, through the mountains, or down a lovely path to a gate. So after your visit to Dragonspire, (the house and gatehouse are my versions of a similar house built by Kismet in SL and I am slow at furnishing it, so mostly empty) take a stroll over to Devil's Fork, explore my little town of mostly my own builds in prim and texture, and have a drink at The Grande Phoenix or my favorite dive, Charlie's Bar. ;) See you soon!

BTW a lot of folks are visiting, no one is commenting or reviewing. Even if it is a bad review it would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading this long azz post! Much Love and let's spread it around!! It will come back to you. Promise.

MartyFeldman: ... no regions found with that name 1 years ago
One of the things I love about Devil's Fork is that it is a unique town. Almost every building in the town was built by me, for better or worse. :) What you see here is one side of a 4-store block with a 5th shop on one end. This is an old build I recently remodeled. These are my favorite shops in the town, Star Magik Has a few things made by me, but mostly tons of things I have found in OS and you can get a copy of most things in the shop. The perfect destination for your magical needs, so come visit and stay awhile. If you like The Land Of Xzar, I hope you will consider dropping a review. Have a Magikal Day/Night and see you soon!

Fall is coming. These trees would look beautiful at your place. Find them near the Pyramids. You can't miss them. :)

It took me about 3 years and 3 grids to finally get this castle built. Starborne Keep will take some time to explore. There is so much to see in The Land Of Xzar, plan to stay awhile. Please, don't just stand there and cam. You won't hear the sounds of the land and you won't see the details. You can get a notecard with Landmarks to help you get around at the landing. Use them, walk around, explore. If I am on, say hi. Strangers are only friends you have not met yet.

"Obeisance" is a striking sculpture that symbolizes the delicate balance between reverence and connection. The fluid, intertwined forms suggest a deep, almost ritualistic act of respect, as if two entities are bowing to one another in mutual acknowledgment. The bold curves and flowing lines evoke a sense of movement, capturing the essence of a moment frozen in time.

Thank you Marianna for this beautiful gift to the Art Gallery. Welcome to the Le Beau Retrouve Art Gallery family. I can't thank you enough for this thoughtful gift. I love it!!

The gallery walls are waiting to showcase the amazing art you've all been creating! Please message me here so we can schedule a time for you to bring your artwork over. I'll need to add you to the appropriate group role to allow you to rez your work. For those with sculptures, I’m excited to find the perfect spot for your pieces as well.

There’s still time to create something for the fall exhibit if you’re inspired!

Theme: Dreamscapes

Art inspired by dreams and surrealism.
Focus on imaginative, otherworldly scenes.
Incorporate elements of fantasy and abstract expression.

The exhibit will open on Sunday, September 29, starting at noon grid time, featuring the vibrant and gorgeous Rogue Galaxy, followed by the beautiful Forest Azure at 1 PM. We had a third performer scheduled, but they can’t make it. If anyone is interested in filling that slot, either as a singer or DJ, please reach out to me.

Also opening is a collaborative exhibit by visual artist Cherry Manga and audio artist Nico Kalani on the Special Projects region, connected to the gallery. You can walk over or take a raft to explore their work.

At Le Beau Retrouvé, one of our goals is to bring the community together to appreciate and create art in Open Sim. We believe in supporting all artists, whether you're well-established or just starting out. Your work will always be handled with respect and displayed to its best advantage.

We encourage everyone to participate in this exhibit and future ones. I can’t wait to see what you’ve created! Thank you for being part of this journey.

Love, Light, and Big Hugs!

This old farmhouse started with a door. I loved the door texture but noticed it had no knobs, so I crafted cut crystal door knobs. I was so pleased with the result that I built the house around the door. If you’re looking for a home to add to your farm, this might be perfect. The property also includes several outbuildings, a corral, a pumpkin patch, and a charming outhouse.

All the architecture was created for Land Of Xzar and is featured in my build. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. More are on the way!

Stepping on my soapbox for a moment: Spread love, not hate! Gossip is often made of half-truths or outright lies, and negativity doesn’t help our planet. It has been 8 days since the Tenth Dimension Grid was born and became a world within the Metaverse made up of many diverse and beautiful galaxies we call the Hypergrid.
Hammers have been banging the nails are flying and progress is being made on the grid. The two shopping regions are still under construction. I have most of my inventory for my shop rezzed and am now in the process of sorting it all out...a big job. I didn't realize I had made so MUCH STUFF! :) If you see something you like and it isn't set for sale $0 yet, let me know so I can be sure you get it.

The region called The Tenth Dimension Project (not listed here yet) can be accessed through our portals if you want to learn more about the project I have spent the last 5 or 6 years researching and dreaming of. The region is divided into 10 parcels, with a platform in the sky above Imagine 6- Space exploration as this one will require both ground and sky and different environment settings. Some of the parcels already have the EEP made and applied, so please enable your settings to see how that "world's" atmosphere may look, (it could change as I go along). On each parcel, I have put out an Info board that shows 2 possible timelines for each parcel.
In the Tenth Dimension, there could be an infinite number of timelines and possibilities so I have narrowed it down to 2, A or B as these possibilities appeal to me and will challenge my abilities. I have many projects going on all the time as it is my nature and I have so many different interests, so this is a long-term project that will at times progress rather quickly and will also be slow to completion.
I welcome anyone to visit and check out the progress and have a nice chat if you wish if I am around. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I would love to hear them.
While you are here, check out the other regions. We are small but have lots to explore, especially in the Land Of Xzar, so take your time and have fun. See you soon!
PS Are you looking for a vacation retreat or a honeymoon adventure? Lots of places in Land Of Xzar to stay. A castle? There are a few. A large Manor on a farm? A small cottage in the forest or the mountains? A beach hut? A beautiful Moracan-styled hotel or the 1960s-style motel down the street offers two very different experiences. See me for more info.

IsisRising: This is intriguing. I look forward to the development. 6 months ago
Good day!!
I have made a few new things and they are available at my shop, Star Ravenhurst Designs at the Star Jinn Palisade Mall. Find the shop on the teleport board to get there.

I have a new shop at the Mall on the Genesis grid!! Star Ravenhurst Designs has original content, mostly prim twisted. You can take a TP to the Specialty shops to find it. Perhaps you will find some Christmas gifts for your friends and family! Also, check out the many houses and buildings at the mall on the lower levels. I have a few free buildings for you and will be adding more of my builds and content. There are also many builds by Thundergod Thor, Lavia, and Gramzy. Much Love and Peace to all of us in the New Year!

Sanctuary of the Ancients

My newest build because I wanted a larger cathedral and now it is available to share with anyone who may want it. You can view it, walk around inside of it, and take a copy of the box which also contains church pews with various sits that I built specifically for this cathedral. I have other builds in this area of the mall you may like as well.

Good Day, Friends!

I’m often asked, “What happens to the art when it’s taken down to make room for a new exhibition?” My response has always been that select works from each artist are preserved and moved to another gallery space, becoming part of a permanent exhibition that contributes to OpenSim’s evolving history. Up until now, that was only a vision—a future project in my mind.

I’m thrilled to announce that vision has finally come to life with The Archive Collection. While the name may be straightforward, it leaves no mystery about the treasures inside! 😊

I’ve included some photos—one of them shows me standing in front of the building, to give you a sense of its scale. To enhance your visit, I’ve also added a grand piano I uploaded and added a variety of scripted music that you can play by touching the keys while enjoying the art. There’s even a version of the piano with animation options available at my shop.

As we approach September, those of you with art ready for display are welcome to bring it by the gallery anytime. If you’re not already in the group, please let me know so I can add you to the correct role so you can rez.

I’m incredibly excited about this exhibition and, from what I’ve seen so far, it promises to be a feast for all our senses! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Lafayette Cemetery

Kal has spent years crafting a world that holds a piece of her soul, working tirelessly to recreate the magic of New Orleans, a city she called home and cherished deeply. She poured her heart into reviving its unique spirit, particularly the places where she lived and worked until Hurricane Katrina changed everything. That devastating storm left scars not only on the city and its people but also o...

Monentes Jewelry

A Gem of a Shop! I absolutely love this shop! Marianna is an incredibly talented jewelry designer, and I’m so grateful she shares her stunning creations with us. Every piece is crafted with impeccable quality and attention to detail, making each one a true work of art. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would definitely give 10! Thank you, Marianna, for offering such beautiful jewelry. My out...

HG Safari

HG Safari has become very important to me. I get to explore new places I otherwise would never know about and have met so many wonderful people in Open Sim. Thirza does an amazing job of scheduling these visits and afterward, she always writes a blog about it. If you want to make friends, see new places, and feel part of this beautiful community, then Safari is the perfect activity. During the sea...

St Charles

Ms Kal has crafted one of the most beautiful places for us to visit and enjoy the magic that is New Orleans. All of her regions are connected by water and most of them are now open. Walking the streets of this beautiful world feels like the real thing. Kal will continue to develop her regions to bring them to life and make this grid a place you will want to return to many times. Every single home ...

Mech Lab

One of the best Futuristic builds I have ever seen. Original and creative, I enjoyed my visit so much. The owner is nice and friendly and I enjoyed visiting with her as well. Be sure and have your sound on so you can hear the ambience and of course, have Shared Environment on. There are some fun rides, but walking is the way to go to not miss anything.

Textures Trees, & Scripts

I had trouble seeing the Teleporter even though everything else had rezzed quickly. Safine was very helpful in resolving the problem. There are lots of beautiful textures to choose from. What a great resource for builders! If you are looking for a script, perhaps you will find one here. I feel very welcome and I look forward to visiting again.

ETZEL

I would give it 10 stars if I could. Samhain (Halloween) is my favorite time of year and Thomas brings all the horror and fun alive. If you go, WALK around, otherwise, you will miss something. Camming does not give you the best experience, and that applies to wherever you go in Open Sim. Give yourself time to explore and immerse yourself in the scenery. You will be happy that you did. Promise. Tha...

Chubelz_Welcome

I went looking for something else and found so much more! Beautiful place, with a smart layout, and some really good stuff I have not seen anywhere else. Sadly, I can only give it 4 stars as there are several items not set up for sale/copy. It deserves 5 stars once this is corrected. Thank you for all the wonderful things I was able to get. Overall, a good shopping experience.

I spent at least two hours exploring this lovely region. The owners have done a fantastic job building this wonderful place and the attention to detail is just the sort of thing that I appreciate. Well worth visiting!

The Garth

This is the best-organized freebie shopping place I have ever seen making it easy to find what you are looking for and I found a lot of things I didn't even know I needed! Every area is clearly labeled which I found to be a big help as I was looking for something specific. Sadly, I am still on the hunt for it but I am happy I discovered this awesome place! I will return again and again. Thank you...
