If I understand your question correctly, you wish to change the address to LadyrRanch to your new grid. Visit your listing and press EDIT SETTINGS. At the top of the new page that opens you can define the new location of your region, then scroll to the bottom to SAVE it. Make sure your opensimworld beacon is up to date and is using the code that is displayed on your page. Good Luck.

YES, you need to have an opensimworld beacon. It communicates with this website so that people will know that your region is up and running, you will also be listed on the teleport guide within the beacon and it reports visitor statistics as well. If you make the changes I suggested WITHOUT the beacon, your sim will be shown as OFFLINE until you have an active beacon up and running. Please press the HELP button at the top of the screen for more information. Good Luck =D

Agreed, when any content enters AlexTron, he is basically saying it becomes his property, by placing the item on his land you are transferring your rights to the content to him which could be illegal depending on geolocation. If there is such a high demand for CC devs to enter his grid, I cannot believe that they would be stupid enough to IGNORE the TOS regarding content because as an originator myself, that statement in section 2.3 would be a deal breaker.

The BEST way to use Opensim is to LEARN HOW to run a simulator yourself. Dedicated servers are more affordable these days. Contanbo is a good sponsor on this site. Learning HOW to run Opensim in standalone mode with hypergrid is very easy to accomplish (plenty of tutorials online) for those who posses sufficient computer skills.
When you run your own grid, YOU get to decide who can enter, you get to make the RULES, you can do anything you like and not be worried about YOUR CONTENT at the hands of oppressors or shady grid owners who can take copies of anything you create without your permission.
When I came to Opensim, I had a grid owner who refused to make backups prior to upgrading their server. Due to their incompetence, I lost a few months worth of hard work,at the time I was establishing my brand on Kitely Marketplace. This is when I decided to educate myself on how to run my own simulations, first I started on OSgrid and now I have my own dedicated Linux server. A web search for "Opensim standalone tutorial" will link you to Austin Tate's blog and he has an excellent walk-through on setting up your own standalone simulator from scratch.
By the way... there is a way to make OAR and IAR which PRESERVES the permissions of all items therein, the fact that grid owners REFUSE to make them for their users in order to "Protect content creators" is utter nonsense. This is only used as a form of entrapment to KEEP people from leaving their grid and going someplace else. There is a special place in perdition for those who employ such tactics.

The COST of Alex's FREE LAND is TOO HIGH! Anyone can get a clear picture of that I mean when you use ANY web search engine for "alex farraris site:hypergridbusiness.com". The evidence is REAL, the FACTS are convincing, do your research before joining shady grids and you will save yourself headaches later on! Peace!

That COULD be true NOW but Alex has a history (documented on hypergridbusiness.com) of turning such features ON and OFF. One day uploads will be FREE, then he will start charging for them.... Exports disabled, then enabled. He has closed off HG access too and there are countless other annoyances he has done. And again, ALL OF THIS CAN BE VERIFIED. Personally I think Alex enjoys coming in here for an occasional ROAST from the very people his actions have pushed away. The cost of the FREE LAND he is offering is TOO HIGH in my humble opinion!

Exactly the case...i have shopped there, several times, and not in inventory, when returning back to own grid. Open grid to export, when exposed. So Dex you are the uninformed person. Your the one who is fooled by your own grid owner. Maybe you should be looking at your own navel.

the grid did not allow exporting when we had a partnership with sacrarium that no longer exists and is fully available, I invite you to test it again before telling me to look at my own belly button, because I'm not the one who keeps wasting my time with intrigue on the internet. I've wasted my time too much today with uselessness, well I have more to do, finish my maintenance, and this again I say invited to pick up the items I said I didn't receive and take the test. Because the grid is totally open for export, as soon as the maintenance is finished, you can go, otherwise each one manages their grid as they wish, I believe that people need to take care of their things more and less of those of others.

Oh we manage fine! Have up to 6 Avitron visitors daily. Free to copy, and take back to their grid. Sarcasticrium, has been out of the picture, for a very long time. Am just speaking, from my own shopping experience, on Avitron Grid. Thank you Alex..and hope maintenance, goes smoothly.

I CHALLENGE YOU TO DO SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR THE COMMUNITY, DON'T YOU THINK THAT WOULD BE A BETTER WAY TO INVEST YOUR MONEY? Prove you are willing to make amends for the wreckage of your past and turn over a new leaf. Make a positive contribution to Opensim and check your EGO at the door... You might just find you will get the success you are after.
