Someone might hurl a rock at me for saying this and I do not mean to be disrespectful in any way but that outfit says "HOOKER" to me... Maybe I am too "old school". Cheers!

Ah, the outfit now has a name. "The Virtuous Hooker". Thx!

Avitron thinks by BLOCKING us, we cannot see their PYRAMID SCHEME Ads. When you log out of this site you can read everything on the FRONT PAGE and MORE!

I forgot to mention: When I asked who makes money off of the stolen SimGEAR content in their shops, they pulled their ads. Which is bigger? Alex's EGO or the UGLY TRACK RECORD which follows him?
Both most likely. But the track record is more likely. When your reputation precedes you in such a way, you have to do all you can to repair it. Putting the ads out there invited more damage to his reputation and more risk to losing any customers both existing or potential.

Agreed, even if he were to change to a new alias, we would recognize his patterns. SANE grid owners develop an ethical policy for their members and STICK TO IT. Alex's policies are tyrannical, they change at the flip of a switch. There are examples ah plenty on HypergridBusiness!

Yes DDG or Startpage are good options but I mentioned google because of it's popularity. Cheers!
DDG gets search results from, among others, it's partner Bing. If you like the results Bing provides, but also like privacy, use DDG. Startpage sends your search request as an anatomized query to Google. If you like the results Google provides, but wish to remain anonymous, use Startpage.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease... The ads they are posting clearly show they are DESPERATE. The good citizens of this community are standing in the way of these con artists. Hypergridbusiness will be delighted to announce another of Alex's failures!

Plus the ads he does post, the comments are locked. Talk about, being paranoid, and hearing the truth, from others.

You could make a custom MAP TILE IMAGE rather than have the server generate it for you. Looks like you have some ships stacked already... I would scale the ship sizes on my custom map tile but inworld the ships would be the appropriate size... Cheers!

Grids like Kitely and Digiworlds (and plenty of others) operate in a sensible manner, they have been around a long time because of their openness and ethics towards all users. If you cannot host a simulator, those are better options. Hypergrid is meant to UNITE all of these communities but there are times when it is necessary to cut off access to megalomaniacs.

Alex Ferraris' history speaks for itself and it is well documented by searching the articles on hypergrid business. This former owner of AviWorlds could never make up his mind, he would offer free uploads then start charging for them; He would open his community then CLOSE IT. His business model also underwent several changes. This fickle behavior sets off a red flag for me and I would never sign up for any of his grids. As far as DRAMA goes, I have special scripts for eradicating those who want to whine about everything on my grid. LOL

I concur with what others have said. Don't feed the TROLLS and they will DIE of starvation. These insufferable people get a kick out of agitating others. When they see they cannot bring you displeasure, they will move on to another target. I got sick of these grids who paint themselves as being the "Best place in the metaverse". The best grid to be on is the GRID YOU MAKE YOURSELF, then you get to choose your members, make the rules, toss out the DRAMA and enjoy virtual life!

FEATURE REQUEST ::::::: This script would be awesome for powering rides like a ferris wheel IF there were a synchronization feature. Example: Make a wheel with 6 or more cars. The script will go in the wheel and each of the cars and each script will be on the same channel. The wheel and the cars will not be linked. When you rotate the wheel and move the cars, you only need to click one of them to "add point" and each of the scripted items will record that point. When all points are made you can save CARD... The problem is that the wheel will not synchronize with the cars because it only has a rotation for each keyframe on it's notecard. The cars have position and rotation in their keyframes. So, the cars sync nicely together but the center wheel goes through it's points too rapidly. There needs to be a way to compensate for the wheel rotation so that it matches the movement of the cars! Thanks for your consideration.

Yeah making a smooth ferris wheel is very hard. The keyframes would have to synchronize perfectly and since they are all different root objects, they are never going to start in sync. also the movement would be a ton of points in a sinusoidal movement around the wheel which is hard.

The simplest ferris wheel is a TargetOmega wheel, where each seat is a single child mesh that rotates with TargetOmega with exactly the opposite direction as the wheel. It is hugely hit-or-miss and only occasionally works in the viewer.

I am using xengine on 09x to handle my script processing and it has been compiled with the mono option checked. I am unable to duplicate this issue using this code as presented.

This is the same exact code as on the LSL-Wiki, it has been converted to OSSL, therefore you will need to be the land owner and ossl (osnpcsay, osisnpc) functions must be enabled. The NPC will respond twice if your activeNPC ..extension script has "osnpcsay" commands in there which it is responding to, those SHOULD be disabled if you want racter to handle that. Example, Active NPC will respond to 'help' and so will racter so you will need to change that line in your ..extension script so it is not triggered. You can also disable any other osnpcsay commands in there as needed.

NPCs do not have inventory other than the attachments they are wearing as defined in their appearance cards. There is no OSSL code which will detect inventory changes on NPCs which would allow the triggering of a 'give' event.

A prim can be scripted to accept content from a user much like the inworld mailboxes of old in SL. On inventory change of the mailbox, it can be scripted to say 'thank you' or give the user inventory you have stored in the contents of the prim.

ActiveNPC does allow your NPCs to give items from the controller contents using actions you define in the ..extension script. This can be handy if you have bartenders or cocktail waitresses. Normally, the NPC would walk up to the guest and ask them to make a CHOICE from the available items they have to give. The active NPC page has more details on setting that up.

You will never find a more comprehensive NPC controller than the OpensimWorld ActiveNPC Framework. I have attached a 'video overview' along with some PRO TIPS. This is a MUST WATCH for anyone serious about populating their regions with NPCs. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/gAIxqOAb5ag

Experimentation is key. A standard sized coaster of realistic dimensions will usually take me about 12 (or more) hours to set the waypoints using colored prims; then I must move the car (position + rotation) to each of those prims along the track and 'add point'. I do them in sections... I always say "It takes a lot of love and patience for the artist to get that beautiful ship inside the bottle". If you have the patience, you will go far.
