COWBOY COUNTRY is a 4x4 western town I call Jasper Valley. It has functional stores where you can shop and get free items (not exportable to other grids) and also items from the marketplace (exportable). The town has a lot to explore: a church, a doctor office, train station, newspaper office, trade store, boot store, dress shop. hat shop, cafe, hotel, general store, saloon, boarding house, bathhouse, tack shop, men's wear shop, barber shop, gunsmith, livery stable, blacksmith, carpentry shop, jail, courthouse, wells fargo bank, post office, undertaker and a salvation army store with free outfits to fit the theme. Also a city hall that houses a theater, a library, the mayor office and an attorney office. All furnished and functional. It also has a town square and a school house with functional playground. Residential area includes a number of residential log cabins, a farm, and a social hall. Farther out you will find a gypsy camp, an indian village and the JRR cattle ranch where Gid has his log cabin, stable, and bunk house. Everything is detailed and furnished, so it's fun to explore not just the outside but inside of each building that isn't a personal residence, which is clearly marked. There are also two places where you can get a rowboat to row around the island. Stop at the livery stable for a free horse. Lots of room for horseback riding. Visit the gypsy camp.
Or cross the river to the hills and plains full with bison, two indian camps, and the welcome center.
Enjoy dancing and line dancing in the saloon or dance in the social hall or at the town square pavilion. Western dance bots are in the cow skull dance machine. Streaming music is country or bluegrass. If you like western themed sims and would like to call here home, message the owner, Fayre Scribe or Gideon Solo, about a cottage. Rent is low and the entire 4x4 is your backyard.
UPDATE: Since I'm letting my medi-fantasy sim go, I decided to save the best parts of it in skyboxes on Cowboy Country. Check out the doors in the cave behind CC's welcome center (on ground level). There are portals to five places: 1. Castle/Tavern 2. BALLROOM 3. Victorian Garden Tea Party 4. Faewood Forest 5. 1960s Hangout. Also, since the recent updates, the rowboats are impossible to control, so (for now) row boat at your own risk. :)
