Valeria's Avatars 2

Valeria Rossi makes some of the most beautiful avatars and her hard work shows it. Unfortunately, the Avatars come "As They Are", where you can make no modifications to make it personal and comfortable for your SELF to wear in a free Virtual World. I have been impressed by Valeria's work for many years, but I have never requested one. I finally did today, but I wanted to decide between 12 of them so I could make my own style. Valeria explained that she works many hours on each one and makes them not modify, so everyone who chooses 1 of the avatars must look exactly like someone else who chooses the same avatar. There is no personalizing permitted. To me, it makes sense that we all look different in RL, so why should we all look exactly the same in VL? If you buy a house, you want to paint, decorate and change it to make it comfortable for you. Valeria doesn't seem to understand that concept of individualism when it comes to your "avatar look". You only get 1 avatar to choose and it will be the same as anyone else could and will choose. No personal changes-- even clothing-- is not permitted. Imagine walking around in the same outfit forever! Seems rather contrary to the freedom we're supposed to have in Virtual Worlds. I don't want to look like someone else. I'm sorry, Valeria. You can't expect people to be all the same, just because you made your avatars that way. Freedom is to BE YOURSELF and that is why most creators allow changes/modifications to their creations. Good luck on giving away copies of identically manufactured avatars. Like Robots, I'm sure everyone will love looking like each other. o.0?
