11th off I'll give you a free object and you re-paint it with totally different colors. But I gave you the free object to use it as it is, right?
12th off If I buy thus pay for templates, and I use them for my designs I mostly give them away free but not full perms. I suggest to go buy those templates or textures yourself and then use them. If it is a template or textures, sure then it should be full perms, since that are tools. But here we talk about a final designed object. And yes, thats a privilige to receive, and not a right. So let the creator of the object decide what perms they'll give out and just respect that. Personally I do not like when people rip my stuff apart, since I see it as a creation as it is. Also when I have payed for it, and promised the template-creator not to give away full perms, I leave it as it is by their request.

Wow, about the picture, this bring up some memories back in time when I was a member of Metrogrid. I think it was 5 or 6 years ago. Metro-admins asked me to booster up the welcomecenter, since it had a futuristic style that time. I added my ussual steampunkstylism to the building and some clockworks in the water and this happened. I still think this is the best welcomecenter of every grid and so nice to see they still have it.
