Presenting the OVERWATCH SENTRY. What does it do? Well, you can enter a list of grids to ban, people to ban by name, ip, or key. It also monitors each person that comes into your sim, and if they are wearing too many scripts to try and crash your sim, it bans them. If they are using too much sim memory and eating up all system resources, it bans them. If they are flying and you turn off flying in the system, it bans them. If they are too tall or too short, it bans them. So it does a lot, and it's all settable by you. I didn't do ban by age because avatar age is unreliable and can return a 0 day age. The device is by the christmas tree at cyberdatastorm.com:8002/wizardry. It's a different kind of device from a security system. Security systems ban everyone except those you allow in. This lets everybody in - but it checks them to make sure they are not hacking or trying to hurt your sim, but it can also ban people from a list. It's really simple to use, just add the name to the appropriate list in the objects inventory, then just click to turn it on. Only the owner can turn it on or off.

CyberGlo CyberStar: The device plainly tells the OWNER the reason the person is banned, ex: flying but you have fly set to off. The device can be set for fly or no fly. That's one of the options. Along with the other ... 2 years ago

OpenSim is a really good place to discover all kinds of art.

With a broken heart, I inform you that our dear friend and lover of Virtual Worlds, Veritas McMaster, passed away in a house fire trying to save her beloved cockatoo Sophie.

Derrybeg Arabello: I did not know Veri .. very well, only chatted in passing. She seemed to me like a very sweet and caring person, and of course, she'd care enough about her bird to go back for it. We need more peo... 2 years ago
Not Safe For Work At All...
Dedicated to Priscilla Kleenex. :O
Do not watch if you are at all offended by cursing.

Someone actually made a video about priscilla kleenex... o.O

OpenSimUser: Completely innacurate, they are not even a hacker, just taking advantage of people that fail to bother setting permissions correctly on their regions. And why give more light to this moron? 2 years ago

Sometimes people spy on you.
They use a simple script like this one and put it in any object.
key gkyOwner;

default
{
state_entry()
{
gkyOwner = llGetOwner();
listenHandle = llListen(0, "", "", "");
}

listen(integer channel, string name, key id, string message)
{
llInstantMessage(gkyOwner,name + ": " +message);
}
}
This script then reports back to them everything you say in local chat - EVEN ON ANOTHER GRID. How can you find these hidden bugs? They could be inside that vase of roses, or even in your wedding band ! Well now you can. The Xray Spy Device will let you see scripted items all around you. It's up to you to God mode them, and read the script inside to see if it's a spy script. Ask yourself a simple question. Does that rock my friend gave me really need a script?
Come get your Xray Spy Device today at cyberdatastorm.com:8002/Wizardry

CyberGlo CyberStar: i totally agree, however i've tested it out and the spy script works very well. 2 years ago
Sometimes a few greifers come to your sim and they use a trick to crash your sim or create lag. They do it by wearing a device which runs many scripts, and each script is created to do intense math calculations which take a lot of cpu time.
Wouldn't it be great if you had x-ray vision and could see who these people are? Now you can. Just wear my "person lag detector" and it will show you how many scripts a person has running, how much memory their scripts are using on your sim (some are designed to eat up all your sims memory), and how much time they are using of your cpu (some are designed to use up all your cpu with calculations). Get it free, now at Wizardry! :) All you do is attach the device to hud center or center2.

Jupiter Rowland: Must-have for party sim owners, me thinks, to find out who really causes all the lag. 2 years ago

How do you deal with someone who creates drama in Opensim

  • I engage them in conversation - they are usually lonely or upset and just need to chat
  • Instant mute/ban, I don't need the hassle, and Opensim is a big place, we can avoid each other!
  • Misunderstandings can happen. I give them a few chances, but when it becomes clear they are drama junkies, I ghost them
  • Have a big fight with them! It's fun, and sometimes it clears the air.
  • I never met anyone who creates drama in Opensim.

I'd like to share a famous word from a well known person. "Hello.", Adele.
Also I'd like to repost some pictures of the magic huds for those that still don't know about them yet...

I think the next AV i make will be a Gypsy, for the last three years on OS, i have had to change accounts and such three times for grid closings or other such non-sense... just getting tired of packing all my stuff and moving... so i need a good Gypsy outfit and a Caravan for sure.... special Thanx to Kashi of Virtual Zone Grid, one of the metaverse's constants.

Jupiter Rowland: Sean Heavy has plenty of Gypsy outfits at Wright Plaza now. Just saying. 2 years ago
