As you said, it was already not clear in SecondLife, and is even less in OpenSim. But what is missing really is just a bit of cleverness. I own a naturist nude beach sim on OpenSim since a few years, and from the start put it explicitely it's for nude people : on the region description, on OSW, on posts I did here and there, on signs at the landing point. Not even talking about public sex, just nudity and children access is something people are too lazy to care about. I got countless people coming to my region and asking why I am naked... People just don't read anything, they don't care about policies (on grid or region level), they don't care about anything.

So to me it's more a problem about persons than technical, by recommandations or anything, and that problem has no good issue.

Myself, I never rely on a region rating, but on information I get from its description and in doubt if I want to reach a naturist area, I arrive either in a bikini or with clothes, that I take off once I'm sure about what to do. I think people globally don't check anything.

This must be one of the reasons why Amoa uses technical means to keep dressed avatars out and teleports them back to the landing, namely to keep those ignorants out who can't be bothered to ever read anything and/or don't care a bit for dress codes. That way, they either say, "WTF, I keep teleporting back, this sim must be broken, this sucks, I'm out," or they take the time and mental effort to actually read the huge sign at the landing.

What you do sounds rather sensible, but also for another reason: I keep seeing sims with different ratings on OSW and in-world. So if you rely on an Adult rating on OSW and decide to go somewhere in the buff, you may pretty well end up on an actually General-rated sim. My personal strategy is to either go dressed like you said or only check these kinds of sims when nobody else is around unless I can be certain that it's safe for me to go.

That's the result of constant hate and attacks against Sacrarium AND their users. No need to be anymore either on this OSW platform full of haters.

Woohoo, I was saying earlier after I came back to Arcadia, that your work gets better and better.

An issue: I tried the vehicle rezzer and clicking did not anything

Yup, just checked: the rezzer at the runway works fine, it's just slower than usual today.

Thank you! oh that may be lag, today the sim's server was busy, so the vehicle rezzer may take it's sweet time, it rezzes the demo behind you, but I'll take a look at it just in case.

The main revelance of hypocrisy comes from one simple fact : if they wanted to really ban Sacrarium (meaning going/coming and using assets) then they would have blacklisted sacrarium assets, like did Digiworld and Metro in the past. The simple fact that they still allow this content shows they are not really concerned by asset usage, but the perception of this usage by other instances. Once more, it's only about populatiry.
And please don't reply with a "they don't know how to do it" ;-)

Also, storing names isn't useful and is a loss of space (memory and/or notecard size). As long as you have the UUID and the avatar came on the grid, the name and other information can be retrieved in realtime from grid users service.

That's a huge work, looking great as others said. P.S.: the carrousel made me a bit dizzy, it's fast! :)

Is there a chance that project is getting community driven with a shared hosting like github or gitlab?

Not at this time. It is still under development, although rather stable now. Are you looking for some specific feature?

It was Just to check the perenity and openness of the project (ideas, feedbacks, contributions, etc..). That looks like PMAC on steroids, which is good. So to adopt a sitting engine, I prefer to be sure it will survive whatever happens to the project initiator or web site. A decentralized project storage is one good way to ensure it.

If you use Firestorm, once you are on the login page, type Ctrl+P to bring the preferences window. Go in OpenSim vertical tab, enter the grid URL in the field and click Apply, then Ok button. The new grid is in the dropdownlist of grids.

Hello ,
thanks for the help, i did exactly that and did the grid search, but in the login it gives error, three years ago did the same, it seems that it will not be today that I enter here.
thanks :)

I always had a weakness for steampunk worlds. That's great there is one to maintain that spirit in opensim.

That's funny as I made something similar one year ago. Project and doc on gitlab : https://gitlab.com/typhartez/autolight
