Looking for a way to expand your region or grid's reach and bring people back to your region or grid? Well here is that opportunity! Your own shop allotted 1500 prims in our Mall's Showcase Plateau! That's right, your shop and prims at no charge up to 1500 prims. You can display your work here and include a land mark back to your region/grid's shop or mall. Does it have to be a shop to give stuff away? No, it can be a shop simply to display what you have built and it can be in the form of slide shows, pictures, sculptures, or items unique to your creation. We want to let you showcase what you love so others can enjoy it as well. This is another way we can network and get to see the work of the many incredible creators here in Open Sim. Well they did it again, the left me unattended with building tools in my reach and so this is what happened, my 2nd attempt at a tree, this one is a lemon tree. It's cute, it's full perm, free and waiting for you in Lavia's Little Corner of the Star Jinn Palisade Mall in the Masala Al Kohav region of my grid. Today is November 1st and in just 10 more days on November 11th, we pay special tribute to our Military Veterans who served this country faithfully and as they say, "All gave some and some gave all". In that direction of thought, I created this memorial which is an upgrade of one I had done a couple of years ago. If you would like a copy, you can find it at the landing spot for the mall. As part of our overall "facelift" for the mall, I have built a new ziggurat with more of a Mayan feel and used textures I made in my AI art program. The men's and women's shops are up, though they are not completely filled yet; we're working on that. All of the homes have been moved and categorized as "Victorian", "Modern", "Log Buildings", "Farms", and "Service Buildings". Our aim with all of this is to make things easier to find and more accessible for our patrons. We do this because elegance is an attitude and shopping should be an adventure. I've decided it's time to clean things up a bit and rearrange things in an effort to make stuff easier to find and more organized and streamlined. I will be doing the work as I have time to do it over the next few weeks; however, the Mall will remain open, and you can still shop there. As I get things moved around, I will place the teleport kiosks with the correct listings and then reset them so that they will take you to the correct location to find what you're looking for. This is a picture of the replica of the home I grew up in here in Pennsylvania. We had a huge farm house to live in and lots of freedom to roam wherever we liked. Taking the Wattle fence a step further, I used some morning glories from T-Spot, some trees and bushes from Flora and some flowers I made as well as the fence and the bird house and created a pretty and relaxing summer scene to add to your region if you like. It is CMT, mesh and free. You can find it in the Garden department here at the mall.

One of my grid members said she loves wattle fences, but could not find any that didn't "flicker" so I built one and I'm making it available to everyone. It is mesh so it is resizable, it can be re textured, and it is copyable so it is CMT. You can find it here at the mall in our Garden Department.

Just in time for the Holiday Season, my new Rose Dining Set with a beautifully detailed table and chairs which include sits. It's finally completed, the Lavine Mansion!! Inspired by a wonderful friend and amazing builder/creator/designer Koshari Mahana, I decided to create my own mansion borrowing a few ideas from one of her builds. This mansion has all the charm of the Victorian Era, with downright "royal" beauty. It has a huge kitchen area, dining area, study or Livingroom and a sunroom or garden room washroom/bathroom on the first floor, the 2nd floor boasts 5 bedrooms and a large bathroom, the 3rd floor has 4 guest rooms or dorms for visitors and the 4th floor is all attic space. You really have to see this beauty to appreciate the time, effort and detail put into it. It's only drawback is it has a land impact of 812, but it's worth every bit of it. There is one small porch on the front for the 2nd floor and two much larger porches on the back of the house for the 1st floor and 2nd floor. Stop by and check it out, it is on the 1st level of the mall grounds just below the fantasy floating homes. It's full perm and free for any who would like it. Blessings and much love, Lavia.

I've been working on this turn of the century "Store House" which is a Store and a House. Back in the 19th century and early 20th century, and in fact some places still today, are designed so that folks can run their business from the first floor of their home which was generally kept separate from the living quarters of the house. This house is designed with walnut floors, sponge plaster ceilings, acacia wood trim and lattice (semi Tudor) windows. It has three chimneys which service all three floors. There was little to no indoor plumbing back then and the type of heat we have today did not exist so they had either a fireplace or coal or wood stove on each floor to provide adequate heat. Some homes did have hand pumps for water in them but most water was carried in buckets from a well nearby and heated on the coal or wood stoves to use for cooking, cleaning, laundry and bathing. If you happen to be working on a western or midwestern town setting, this build would be perfect for you. A little piece of history always adds a authentic touch to any region. It is full perm, however, it is total mesh so removing parts is not advisable, however you may re texture it, just understand that even back then, when they found wallpaper (most folks only had wood or plaster) they used the same wallpaper in every room, so if you re texture the entire inside of the build will be that texture. The walls are two faced in that you can put one texture on the outside of the building and a different one on the inside and all of the baseboards are a different texture. You may copy it and or transfer it or share it to others. Just have fun with it...Blessings and much love, Lavia

Something I've been working with for a while now was how to make a decent tree trunk and branches and finally, at last, I got one that doesn't look too bad. It's a North American Pignut Hickory, or what we always called a Hognut tree. They're beautiful and provide lots of shade especially when you're on a walk through the woods in the summer and they smell so good in the fall, and the hickory wood burning on a campfire or in a fireplace smells so good! Anyway, it's at the mall in the garden center waiting just for you to beautify your region. Pop in and take a look around and go a little "nuts"...pun intended. The tree is fully mesh and just 1 prim and it's full perm and free. Blessings and much love, Lavia

I build this for a friend, a tree hut with a deck and a log bridge in between. It is not yet available at the mall but will be soon enough. It is small though the tree is big and the deck is a good size for dances and such. Access from the ground is via a teleporter. Okay I think things are finally, at last, for the time being, hopefully rearranged to be more easily accessible for everyone at the Create A Scene Garden Center and in fact the entirety of the Masala Al Kohav Mall. There is so much going on here that at times it's a little hard to keep up with, but it's all good goings on!! Stop in and shop all day if you like. Visit all of our in house creator's shops like Ezra's Antiques and Collectables, Thor's Forge, Fall's For You (Animesh People) and my own "Lavia's Little Corner". We have a very wide assortment of items ranging from houses to plants and everything in between. We're working on building new stuff as well so that you have original content as well as items from around Open Sim. And don't forget to ask about our "Showcase Plateau" which allows folks to advertise their grid, region, or shop not just for a week or a month, but year round for free with an allowance of 1500 prims. For this build I started with a wall I had made for a House I was working on, then I wondered how it would look as an outdoor thing and viola! The Wistful Shelter came to life. Decorated with wisteria and a few other plants, it is polished brass with a beautiful mosaic floor sure to please anybody. It's free, it's full perm, and it's waiting to beautify your region in a garden, on a beach, or just as a yard decoration. I have my greedy game inside it. Our newest addition to the Star Jinn Palisade is my mixed prim and mesh Victorian Home. It features a wrap around porch, full basement, beautiful kitchen space with spindle shelves and a small breakfast counter and an arched doorway that leads to the dining space as well as a very open living room. Spiral stairs accent the small towered portion that is adorned with stained glass windows. Upstairs there is a Master bedroom with doors to a 2nd floor balcony, and there is a 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Walnut flooring and Victorian era wallpaper. And the Lattice work is 3D mesh; It's a little prim heavy but for the detail and beauty it can give to your sim, it's worth it. Blessings and much love, Lavia

As many of you know, we are giving our Mall a "facelift", and a much needed one at that. Everything has moved and we've added some new stuff so to make things easy we have the teleport system which you can use to get around more easily. Also I built a huge new "Plaza" building which houses the contents of the smaller stores ,so in that one building we have almost all of the furniture, and our guest vendors as well as our builder supplies and whatever else I can fit in there including weapons. The new Mayan Aristocrat House is available in the "Ancient Builds" department at the mall. While I'm using this same build as a shop building, the original was based on a Mayan Aristocrat's "Mayor's House". It's a simple build that is one large room, and it is full perm so you can add too it if you want a 2nd floor, and you can change the textures. The textures that are on it were made via my Magic Studio AI Art program. If you pick it up, I hope you will like it, as it will add character to any region it is used in.
