Yep! I've actually camped in one that I made in RL, in the middle of January one time. We survived just fine. I am part Mi'kmaq though... I might have the northern-canada genetics for it. hehe

That's a funny pic. :D I see the virtual world as the opposite of that. We are young on the inside, old and beat up on the outside. haha

This is the first time my avatar has had flat feet in 18 years. They went crunch crunch like in the Barbie movie. lol

You can visit groovyverse.com:8002:welcome and all those wilderness regions are due north, close by on the map. We are still working on it, so I haven't set up a landing point or a beacon yet. Over the winter, we are going to make it an educational project, with displays on how things were made, info on pre-contact everyday life... Learning Algonquin language resources.. It is a fun project :)

Just looked. Pretty avatar! I think we have met at some parties at Kitely. And I also lived in Oklahoma, near Tulsa for a while. And was born at Tinker AFB :D

One of my best buds on GroovyVerse used to be a stage manager working with a lot of famous bands. He's had a professional grudge against the Moody Blues for like 30+ years. lol At this point, I am 55 years old. I don't know who to call elderly anymore. He's in his 70's and the coolest, most youthful person I know. :)

I am merely an observer in this. But am pleased that the Firestorm Dev team are working hard on it. :)

Someday, as technology improves, Firestorm will run in a javascript app.. like a Super NES emulator. And we will still be there! haha

I remember at the time, SL was such a source of depression, because I'd build beautiful places, run out of money, have to let them go.. over and over and over again. It was such a joy to have a space that no one could take away from me.

I stopped building in SL for the same reason and moved all my work here. Now I have the space and freedom to build whatever I like :-)

Thanks. Some of our residents really want to develop PBR and sadly the viewer is unusable. It is good to see they are making progress fixing it. :)

I compiled from github. It's the in-progress code for the next release.
