If you’re using outworldz check and see if that’s down.

I'm not using outworldz and it's down for me. I have no idea what 'myvirtualbeach' is using.

Are you a grid owner? If not ask the grid owner. Usually your url will have outworldz in the link. But if not it could be anything. Plus if you or the grid owner updated dreamgrid that could be an issue too.

>Are you a grid owner?

Yes, I have a personal grid of my own. That's why I said I'm not using outworldz.

Whoever you are about I have no clue what you're talking about, I did notice you deleted your account on here lol Plus please prove it's me I don't use alt I don't need to and I own a grid. So get a life dude...

my 3 year old account is deleted, yet you comment on it with your 5 month old account .... we all own grids thanks to dreamgrid, so no real accomplishment there. According to the stats of OSW "Shall We Date" hasn't been online in a very long time ... I smell jealousy.

What system are you using? I have a friend who’s been wanting something like this. Co-op would be great to have for opensim farming. He has a discord for farming if anyone wants to join discord username is: osfarmingcoop_73517

VivoSim that's the newest one. I will check out his Discord & Thanks so much for the information! :D Making a Discord server for farming is a great idea. I'll check out and see what he is doing so that I won't do the exact same thing. :D Thanks for the info, PapaJohnson. :D

I never heard of that

Assets are not stored on the region, they are in the grids robust. If your regions are not connected, you still have your assets

I could delete ALL regions and bring new ones on, your assets are still there.

Correct. All you need is the UUID of the region and all can be restored.

When a call is made to the Abort method to destroy a thread, the common language runtime throws a ThreadAbortException on . NET Framework. ThreadAbortException is a special exception that can be caught, but it will automatically be raised again at the end of the catch block.

wonder how much resources that uses, you probably need a top notch PC

Ryzen 5 3600X, MSI B450, 32GB of RAM, Sapphire Radeon RX590 with 8GB of VRAM. Round about six-year-old stuff, not exactly top notch even for back then. Assembled to live on no more than 500 watts. Also, my OS is Debian with the amdgpu open-source video driver.

Still, this very places gives me constantly over 40FPS in Firestorm 7.1.11 beyond Ultra with screen space reflections on, mirrors on, reflection detail on real time, full scene reflections, all projectors on and even object details cranked up to 4. Even if I really go to photo quality with shadow quality 3 and 16x anti-aliasing, I still get around 30fps.

I don't think my lightweight avatar with not even 20,000 ARC right now is the reason for such good performance. I mean, I could send Juno with lots of jewellery on and try again.

The inside of the Majestic actually seems to cut deeper into my graphics performance.

The Majestic will probably be the next venue I convert to PBR

I have two desktops: an older one with a 1070 card and an I7, and the new one I recently built with a 4060 and an I9. I've been able to crank it up to ultra settings and still have a decent fps, even on the older one.

I am ok with the GTX 1050 GPU. I turn all the shaders off, shadows off and use minimal reflection settings while traveling. I'll crank the settings for photos if wanted. The latest viewer improvements from Firestorm and Cool VL have made a difference for those of us with older PCs. :)

No just any newer computer is all that is needed.

You would be surprised just how little is really needed to run Dreamgrid on any pc.

Yes dreamgrid runs fine but this new PBR in firestorm

I always thought he was a good guy, I joined his grid back when he started I stayed a good year and I never had issues with him, although my region was free, I did help him build things and then I left and ventured on my own.
