Charlie Kirk Memorial

Reviews

Richard Lionheart
I didn’t agree with most of what Charlie Kirk said, and I didn’t like the way he said it either. But watching people celebrate his death and spit on his memory by chopping up quotes and cherry-picking phrases makes you no better than what you accuse him of. Hate is hate, whether it comes dressed up as politics or payback.

Charlie did not deserve to die for his opinions. His wife and children did not deserve to lose the head of their household in the traumatic way they did. That pain is real and lifelong, no matter how much you disliked the man.

If you truly believe in building a better world, then prove it by choosing kindness, compassion, and humanity. Put differences aside and love your neighbor, just as we are commanded to do. Spreading more hate and division in death only continues the very cycle you claim to oppose.

The way we treat the dead says more about us than it does about them.

BTW, does anyone know about Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark Hortman’s memorial?

To be clear, I don't condone murder. I am not celebrating his death. I also refuse to mourn someone who would have celebrated my death and the death of people I love.

"Charlie Kirk's entire life’s work was about pushing hate and stripping people of their rights and humanity.
He openly spread hateful, misogynistic, racist, white supremacist, homophobic, and transphobic rhetoric.

He said women who aren’t married by 30 have no value, and put it bluntly: he suggested women in their early 30s are “not in their prime” and “not as attractive in the dating pool”. He even claimed, “If you're not married by the age of 30, you only have a 50% chance of getting married…”.

When it came to abortion, he said that even if his own 10-year-old daughter was raped and became pregnant, “the answer is yes, the baby would be delivered”, refusing any exceptions in that scenario. He compared abortion to the Holocaust, declaring it “worse than the Holocaust” in terms of its scale and moral horror

On gun violence, he infamously stated: “I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.” The Second Amendment is the part of the U.S. Constitution that grants the right to bear arms—he literally said mass shootings and school shootings were just an acceptable price to pay for that right.

His bigotry didn’t stop there. He pushed misogyny, racist conspiracies like the “great replacement,” and spoke of “prowling Blacks” in demeaning terms.

And when it came to LGBTQ people, his views were just as hateful. He repeatedly denied trans identities, saying flat-out, “there are only two genders,” and called gender fluidity “a lie that hurts people and abuses kids.” He demanded a nationwide ban on gender-affirming care and claimed that LGBTQ rights were nothing more than “sexual anarchy.”These weren’t one-off comments—they were a consistent part of his platform.

Even at the very end, his last words before he was killed were transphobic and then racist, showing that hate was his final message.

That’s who he was at his core, his entire life’s work was about pushing hate and stripping people of their rights and humanity.

I don't condone murder but I won't mourn the death of a monster." ~Alex Hornby

I took out Alex's words about him being a Nazi because it's not correct to call him a Nazi per say. However, he did say a lot of unkind and anti-semitic things. Which was made worse because he pretended to support Isreal so seemed like an ally to Jewish people on the surface:

Charlie Kirk was unabashed in his conservative Christian values. He lived those values and traveled the country visiting colleges in an effort to engage young people in open dialogue. He was not a Nazi, or a Racist or any of the other "hot topic" labels that people want to hand out when someone disagrees with them these days. He believed in America, in freedom for EVERYONE, in Family and conservative values. He believed in open discussion and the peaceful respectful exchange of ideas. He did not deserve to be murdered and he does not deserve to be spoken badly about by people who never listened to him or took the time to hear his opinions. I will miss you Charlie, and I am grateful for all you did in your short 31 years.

All these bad reviews have been made by people who have said some extremely hateful and toxic things themselves for a long time in this community, I suggest these people look carefully at their own actions before they judge others

The negative comments are from folks who really have no idea who Charlie Kirk was, or what he spoke of. They're parrots, echoing the same nonsense that led to his assassination. The only benefit to such comments is knowing what wicked people to stay away from. None of you actually care about people of colour, LGBT or human rights -- none of you are actual Liberals with liberal minds.

Charlie was killed for wanting to have conversations with others. If, to any of you, that's a good enough reason to kill someone, maybe take a step back and do some soul searching. If you people (Dorena, Jamie and Shea -- who can't even pronounce her own name, etc.) think it's okay to off a person for the things they supposedly say, maybe be careful about the things you say. No, that isn't a threat. It's karma. He's supposedly such a hateful guy, meanwhile, you sickos are defecating on the man's grave and are old enough to know better.

To the person who made the memorial for Charlie Kirk, hats off to you. Thank you so very kindly for having a heart and a mind of your own.

Christian values? Wow those must be screwed up. He said "It's worth some fatalities, in order to protect the 2nd amendment, and god given rights. Well what about God's 6th commandment, "Thou shall not kill". He was the worst racist, that walked the earth. He said the civil rights, " It was a big mistake" Saying Martin Luther King was an awful person. Labeled him as an serial adulterer, an a alleged rapist and a race Marxist. He once said, "if he sees a black pilot, he hopes he is qualified." He said homelessness is a choice. That there all druggies and drunks and killers. He said " gay people are destructive and endorsed having them put to death." He said abortions are worse than the Holocaust. He said a lot of horrible things, on his podcast and his college travels. So yes Jamie Wright. You are absolutely correct in anyone finding sympathetic, towards this monster of a man.

It's nice to see something like this in Opensim. Charlie Kirk wasn't perfect, but then none of us are, but he lived what he believed and he did his best to give people equal opportunity to prove him wrong and they could not. Charlie was not killed because he was speaking, he was killed because those kids are listening and hearing the truth. He was always respectful even to those who disagreed with him, what they didn't like was that he was bold and said what he wanted to just like they do. Well that bullet didn't stop the movement he started, then again look what they did to Yehusha Hameshiach, they didn't like the truths he spoke either and you know what? They didn't silence him either.

Promote such a region is more likely to create discord than rapprochement.I fear that is also Josh's intention. What some people here are saying, suggesting I approve of the accusation, is pretty outrageous; typical right-wing conservative assholes. No, I find such violence and such murders absolutely horrific. Still, Kirk doesn't have to be a saint to me.Promoting such a region is more likely to create discord than rapprochement. Furthermore, I am appalled at how many people share Charie Kirk's views; who else would agree with this memorial?

Jebus said, “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” but he said nothing about empathy. Chuckles Kook said that “empathy is a made up New Age term that does a lot of damage.” Heck no, I’m not New Age, so I have no empathy for Chuckles.

Now, Chuckles did believe in freedom for EVERYONE, For example Taylor Swift is free to submit to her husband. “You’re not in charge.” Chuckles said about her.

Chuckles said “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, boy, I hope he’s qualified.” As for me, when I see a white assassin, I can bet he is more than qualified to kill Chuckles, like he wanted, to help protect everyone’s right to own a gun, even an assassin.

Chuckles said "It's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. Now, I don't support what happened to Chuckles. But Chuckles supported what happened to Chuckles.

THIS NEWS JUST IN: On Wednesday, FBI Director Kash Patel dramatically cut ties with the Anti Defamation League, a Jewish organization that had provided the bureau with research and data on hate groups for decades. Why? The group tracked racist and extremist statements associated with the late activist Charlie Kirk’s group, Turning Point USA. Dis the MAGA martyr and pay the price.
