As you learn to truly see the companions who travel this life with you, you begin to realize that there is no journey, but only an awakening. There is no road to travel on and no time to travel through.

A brand new ongoing build by Luna Lunaria. The theme is a reimagining of what Atlantis and the Roman Empire would look like if they had survived to the modern era and merged together (sorry no, not the sunken version of Atlantis. There are lots of others working that theme). Not much there right now...

More detail on the main harbor entrance. I'm the tiny little white-haired figure near the base of the left statue :-)

Lunaria on Mobius Grid

My goal with all my stores and regions, but especially this region, is to show that even a store can be an artistic expression of the highest order. Every piece I sell and every place I display them is a work of art.

See Lunaria here: main.mobiusgrid.us:80:Lunaria
Use shared environment and advanced lighting model to see it as it was meant to be seen.

While most of us associate PBR only with mirrors and shiny metals, there is a lot more to it since all surfaces benefit from it. The top pic here shows the room with the old standard (blinn phong) textures and materials taken using the FS 6.6.17 viewer, while the bottom pic shows the same room with all pbr textures taken using the FS 7.1.11 viewer. Note that you can add both texture sets to a surface so that any viewer can see something. Also note that there is a reflection probe filling this room that prevents the blue light outside from seeping in (a current known bug being investigated).

Saturation, lighting, and detail are significantly improved across the board when all surfaces are pbr, which is what Physically Based Rendering was designed to do: to more accurately capture the interplay of light on various surfaces. For those wondering about how performance was affected, these were taken using my 8 year old desktop that has a GTX 1070 graphics card. I was at 40 fps on ultra graphics, but you don't need to set the graphics that high to get this look. That's because the new viewer is more efficient since it uses more of your computer's available resources.

Jerralyn Franzic: I can get enough of this look shown here, even with all of the shaders turned off and PBR settings at minimum. For shinier things I do need to set PBR a bit higher than minimum, but it doesn't affect ... 7 days ago

The Lotus Club is now available at the Emporium! Modeled after the original club at Luxor, this one comes fully loaded with accessories and can be modified and copied. The base size is 160m x 110m. Click on the Egyptian sign in the lobby to get to the display area.

Lunaria Emporium is back online

Doing a little infrastructure work on the sponsor region at OpensimFest, including adding a new EEP

For all OSFest exhibitors, merchants, and sponsors, the grid is now open for adding your builds and displays. You can find full and complete information regarding all aspects of accessing the grid and setting up here: https://www.opensimfest.com/post/the-osfest-grid-is-open

There are still spots open in all categories so make sure to register for yours today! If you wish to participate as an exhibitor, performer, or merchant, please go here to register for a parcel: https://www.opensimfest.com then click Register on the top menu line. Once you have registered go to the web page mentioned at the top for information on how to proceed.

OSFest sponsors are those who support the grid monetarily to help offset the server and technical costs of running a short-term grid. Their support ensures the grid is free to everyone. If you would like to become a sponsor, go here to register where you can choose a support level you're comfortable with: https://www.opensimfest.com/sponsors
Luxor is my home and a place of meditation and mystery for spiritual pilgrims. The region rewards those who are patient, still, and listening, for there are quiet songs that will play at various locations if you stand and wait. Shared environment and higher graphics will complete your experience in this place of Peace. I am here often so please say Hi if you see me

Nothing is currently for sale here but eventually I'll open a little shop of antiquities.

Dancing beneath the Mystic Moon

I currently have regions on four grids, three of which are part of the NGC (Next Generation Core) group of grids (8-10 grids at last count), who together are developing their own improved fork of Opensim. All three have great owners who can be easily reached through dedicated grid channels on Discord, and all have been tremendously supportive of my work.

Of those three, Wolf Territories Grid has become my main location (the other two are Mobius Grid and Utopia Skye Grid). All NGC grid owners are deeply committed to making their grid the best possible for their users. That is especially true for Lone Wolf at Wolf Territories when it comes to speed, security, stability, and the organization of servers and architecture.

For example, look at the console pictured here. By logging in to the website, multiple options are available to me: Restart the region, Update the map of the region, Download the most current OAR, Backup the region to create a new OAR that I can then download, or flatten the region terrain. By clicking Edit, additional options open up: I can change the region name, change the region currency from Gloebits to the local currency, or change the region physics from Ubode to Bulletsim.

And all those things we hope will work on a grid do here: Group notifications, Offline messages sent to email, a working Destination Guide, region crossings, and local currency transaction history, among others. I for one am deeply appreciative.

I have a small selection of Japanese inspired structures and accessories at Lunaria Emporium, such as tea houses, garden pavilions, torii gates, bridges, art, sculptures, lighting, and a lovely mesh Sakura Cherry Tree, with or without Kodama spirits. Everything is available either inside the store or on an outside display area.

You can find my work at these locations:

Gloebit Store: grid.wolfterritories.org:8002:Lunaria Emporium - Main Store
Podex Store: grid.wolfterritories.org:8002:Lunaria Emporium - Podex

Group notices are borked even more than usual, so it looks like no one got my new group gift notice:

"There's a brand new group gift at the Emporium on Wolf Territories Grid, and you don't want to miss it! Look for the box in the lobby by the group joiner kiosk. Thank you again for your patronage!"

I look forward to your visits this year:

At my online store on the Kitely Market where I currently offer about 200 products that can be exported anywhere: https://www.kitely.com/market?store=13957705

And finally at Utopia Skye Grid, which is primarily closed to the hypergrid, I have a store there where everything is free to local residents only. Please note that these are not allowed to be exported off the Utopia grid.
I designed my logo a few years back to represent all my creative endeavors, but also to capture the esoteric essence of Luna, the triple Moon Goddess of legend. Triple moon because she is represented by the waning moon, the full moon, and the waxing moon. She has gone by many names over the ages: Luna, Selene, Hecate, Artemis, Diana, even Persephone at times. Her tripartite nature is embodied in the Three Graces, the Three Fates, the Three Muses, and the Three Stages of of the Feminine: Young Maiden, Mother, and the Experienced Elder. As her namesake, I bask in the light of her subtle inspiration falling around me on clear, hushed evenings, urging me to walk the path of love, to discover mystery in the simplest of things, and to be lost in wonder.

My Ruth2 and Roth2 avatars. Luna on the left is wearing Ruth2 RC3 (I don't use RC4 because I don't like the alpha hud for that version). The dress is from the Kitely Market and made by Pacifica. Hair, skin, and shape are mine (no I don't sell these or give them away and haven't made any others since - not my thing). Apelles on the right is wearing the latest version of Roth2. Clothes and hair are from the Kitely Market. The glasses and shoes I made. Each one's complexity is about 55000 to 60000. Just so you know you can get a nice unique look with Ruth2 and Roth2

Jupiter Rowland: Shameless plu-, I mean, PSA: I'm surprised to see that you as a Ruth2 and Roth2 user haven't joined my Ruth and Roth group yet. (https://opensimworld.com/groups/1014/members) As a benefit, you'll get ... 2 years ago
Today starts my Opensim Appreciation Giveaway, and it's happening all this week at OSFest from Monday July 18th through Sunday July 24th. Everything I have out on my four merchant regions at OSFest will be free, with the exception of two structures still under construction that I will debut in the next month. Freebies include castles, entertainment venues, statues, landscaping, airships, and decor of all kinds - if you see it you can get it for free. I have four parcels on the OSFest grid: one on the Chlorine region and three on Unobtanium.

DON'T MISS THIS

In addition, there are nearly 25 merchants participating with me in a massive sales event all week - sales prices and freebies galore. Supporting is caring, and encourages quality creators to set up shop in opensim.

Start here, then look for the merchant teleport board: grid.opensimfest.com:8022:HG-Welcome

Adding layer by layer to the Luxor build

Luxor is coming along nicely

Just created my avatar on Wolf Territories and officially joined their grid. Almost done with a satellite store on their Ocean 20 region. I've always loved this grid simply because it is over 500 contiguous regions - great for flying and sailing, and because the owner @wolfterritories is extremely supportive of all my work.
