WolfViewer now draws its own sky on every Wolf Territories region: a real atmosphere, with 3D clouds you can see from below, from the side and from above. Press WE in the navigation bar to switch it on or off.
🌦️ Clouds that match the weather
Puffy cumulus low down, altocumulus in the middle, thin cirrus up high. When thunder is forecast, towering clouds build up kilometres tall. Regions tied to a real place get that place's real weather and real time of day.
✈️ The sky changes as you fly
Cross into another region, even far out over the sea, and its sky comes in over a few seconds.
🌠 Shooting stars on clear nights, and light that adapts like a camera between day and night.
🌧️ Choose your own weather
In the World menu, under Weather, pick rain, snow or fog for yourself, even when the region has its own weather.
Each region starts with its own weather when you arrive.

Hi everyone. I have had a few people ask if we will upload IAR files to Wolf Territories from OSGRID. Unfortunately we have to protect the security of the grid so we will not be doing that at this time. However I'm pleased to say that region owners can upload OAR files, although we have a scanner that pre-scans OAR's. We are running a custom version of OpenSim called WolfSim that has many built in protections, including running on dotnet 10 rather than 8 like many grids, properly locked down servers running our WolfStack infrastructure software (https://wolfstack.org) etc. Plus users benefiting from our Viewers get added security,

Jimmy Olsen's incredible EEP system is now in Wolf Territories Grid back end, you can set it on your land to tie up to an RL place including the weather. (needs WolfStorm or WolfBrowser)

WolfViewer now has inbuilt DJ Tools including being able to host a talk show on voice. (works on any grid) - Wolf Territories Grid region owners get a free stream for their region. Also we have now completely removed any border crossing juddering, you won't even notice you're crossing a border and being able to use opensea, where you can go anywhere even if there is not a region there.

We got rid of region borders. Once the rolling restart completes you will never hit a region border on Wolf Territories Grid, you wil happily sail between regions, if you come to the extremes of the grid you will "wrap around" just like a globe. In fact our new WolfViewer / WolfStorm map view release coming out today will start off with a globe as we are no longer constrained by region borders. (still works on other grids and other viewer users can still experience no region borders but it won't be as smooth as with WolfViewer), plus we are releasing automatic upgrades, proper linux packages (deb etc) for all linux.

Vehicle couplings on Wolf Territories: trailers, caravans and trains that really hitch up.
Trailers and caravans on Wolf Territories are now joined to their vehicle by a real physics joint in the region's physics engine (ubODE and BulletSim both), not a script chasing the truck. The trailer swings, tracks round corners and is pulled like the real thing.
How it works
- The front vehicle (truck, car, locomotive) gives itself a coupler key and names its hitch points: a fifth wheel, a tow ball, a coupler hook.
- The rear (trailer, caravan, carriage) asks to attach to that key at that point. Back the truck up to the trailer and it couples once the hitch points are within reach (3 m by default).
- The coupling is saved in the object and comes back after a region restart, after editing, and across region crossings, until you detach.
- It uses your own key name, not a UUID, so it survives take and rez. Only vehicles with the same owner couple, so your key never clashes with anyone else's.

Ferries at Dublin port, note you will need WolfViewer / WolfStorm to access it, these ferries run for 3 to 11 hours stopping at all the major ports on the Ireland region. This is an 1800x1800 region which contains the full terrain of Ireland and we are working on building it out.

Dublin, including the airport and docks, is in our Wolf Nation region. (Ireland, basically). 400x400 region. On SL, this region would be about $7.9 million per month; this one region is bigger than SL's total land area.

Wolf Territories Grid
The Wolf Territories Grid is -- the most professionally designed and -- most caring and competently administered VR grid -- that I have ever experienced -- in over 20 years of living in several, diverse VR environments. Tools for managing assets are extraordinary. Web-based controls are so extensive they facilitate a true sense of user ease and autonomy. Management of easily acquired, and modestly priced regional lands -- is a pure joy. By way of contrast -- past experiences in other venues make them all viable candidates for residency in Jurassic Park. The word is out on this place -- which is presently experiencing mass migrations from other venues. Make the Wolf Territories Grid your permanent home. You'll never regret the choice -- feeling the elation of finally finding -- a place to breathe.
