An Update About Updates.
Can I say that? Because this is my first post about updates. What the hell. I'm too lazy to think of a different lead. But I've been far from lazy doing updates to oh HELLO outfits.

When you come to shop, look for the "Updated" sign for outfits that have been, well, updated! If you already have the outfit, grab the update. It might have new hair, jewelry, footwear and more -- whatever was needed to bring the outfit to the next level of wonderful. One thing is certain. It's been updated. Whoo hoo!

(BTW, the Updated sign is found in the upper left corner of the vendor display, where you see the New sign for new outfits).

The shop is completely redesigned, the vendors are all in order, and now it's time for new outfits. This one is recycled from an outfit lightly used by a grandmother who loved to sail. All new: the puddle boots (fat pack) and bracelets with gems recolored to match grandma's fave rave sailing dress.

Quite a dish! The sailing dress outfit is sweet. This outfit is spicy. Together, they are like Honey Jalapeño Bacon. Hmmmm. Bacon.

By the way, the top and shorts (fatpack) have silver studs. I made a copy of the green ones and recolored the studs to better match the rest of the outfit.

Love Thyself
It's said we can't truly love someone unless we first love ourselves. Fine. But some people take it too far. I recently told a guy "I love you." He said, "We have so much in common! "I love me too!"

The outfit features the "Love Myself" crop top -- part of a fatpack with an assortment of graphics. The sneaker HUD gives you incredible options to customize the look.

The Fraud Of Pumpkin Spice Revealed
According to Jupiter Communications, Inc., an Internet research company, the most common search term this time of year, for five years running, is "pumpkin spice anal beads." Despite this disturbing fact, this outfit has nothing to do with pumpkin spice or...that other thing.

Admittedly, the dress is orange. as are pumpkins. But a little known fact is that pumpkin spice actually does not contain any pumpkin, real or artificial. In other words, pumpkin spice is a fraud. Sad, but true.

There are bell towers without bells. Instead, they make use of an electronic device to simulate the sound of bells. Then there are bell towers with bells, but the ringing of the bells is automated. However, my college had real bells in it's bell tower, and real live bell-ringers -- student volunteers who were members of what I called the "Ding-A-Ling Club."

I thought of them as I assembled this outfit. The wings, harness and bra are from a set of clothes named Angel's Sorrow. Why would angels be sorrowful? Well, as it's said, "every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings.” Is there currently a shortage of ding-a-lings in the world? As I look around me, I have to say, "I think not".

This AviTron Shop Is Great--If You Want To Pay For Stuff That Should Be Free.
CopyKat Grid is home to Grimm, where you can get the pictured outfit, and many more, free and full perm. Or you can go to this AviTron shop and pay TR$10 for the item (changed to no transfer). You can see Jimmy, owner of Grimm, still listed as the creator of the item. (Oops). The shop owner got this--free--at Grimm.

To be fair, I think about everyone has made the mistake of setting an item for sale and forgetting to change the default price of $10 to zero. But a full perm item someone else created, with the sale price already set--to $0 (https://gyazo.com/1cecf29be200eb98b2d1e2ba4f85336d)--doesn't change to a no transfer item sold for $10--unless the new owner changes it on purpose. This was no accident. And this "not an accident" happened to items from Grimm at least 20-30 times at this AviTron shop.

You will see many residents from the great grid of AviTron shopping at Grimm and the countless other quality freebe shops on the CopyKat Grid. Now I know at least one reason why. You never know what you will find on the CopyKat Grid--but one thing is sure. It's gonna be free.

Are You Now, Or Have You Ever Been, A Member Of The Communist Party?
It's the 1950's and the peak of anticommunist hysteria in the USA. I'm called before the House Un-American Activities Committee, a foci of fear, distrust and repression in American life. The committee is engaged in a campaign against supposed subversives. They ask, ‘Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the Communist Party?" I look in the mirror and see my lipstick. It's red and displays the characteristic yellow hammer and sickle of the Communist Party. "Hell", I thought. "I'm screwed".

It's all a dream of course. I'm wearing a ball gown, converse sneakers, and a blindfold, which I would never wear to a congressional hearing. I'm saving the outfit for my dream wedding.

The hair is named Faith. The skirt is named Hope. And Charity? There is no item named Charity in this outfit. I couldn't find anything with that name in my inventory or in the shops I visited. I even asked a few friends. No luck. I was tempted to change the name of the boots to Charity. But look at them. I'd never get away with the ruse. Faith. Hope. No Charity. Sorry. Back In Black
I don't usually make an outfit with a clothing item used in another outfit. But, honestly, the jacket is a repeat. It's the only top that worked with these jeans. Just pretend you never saw it before, K?

Pay attention instead to the white (jean stitching), silver (boot studs) and grey (hair streaks) that offer an interesting contrast to the otherwise all black outfit. As always, you can customize your look with the included fat packs.

I Love Socks
Do you love socks? I do. The preacher said 'no socks' before marriage. But I listened to sockologists instead. They say that wearing shoes without socks will make your feet stink. Anatomy of An Outfit
I loved the pants. I did not like the bizarre white fringe pompoms at the bottoms. So I killed them. Killed them dead. Next, the shoes. Found a pair with a color that matched the pattern at the bottom of the legs. Extra credit bonus points for the tassels that tie into the look of the dangling belt strings. I had to go shopping for just the right top. Found it! What's right about it? Just about everything. For me, the killer feature is the asymmetry of the collar that brings the outfit to the next level. To complete the look -- long flowing hair.
