this is the basic setup; later I will add a version with special effects embedded.

Update from dolfin county....: we are afloat,lol.
drifting up and down through the surface, randomly, nice splash of water triggered..looks great:))
this is the baseline, now, I need to make a bunch of subscripts for special effects....no idea how long thats gonna take, but, I'll keep u posted!:)

OUPZ....I made a booboo, peeps....:
the swan's animation sequence got corrupted, it never could play a full animation and grab next, fluently...
I have corrected it, the new version is available in me shoppie!

***SPECIAL NOTICE***
Hello peoplez, here is a special message for all sim owners, who think they can't use ubODE, because it makes a mess of oldschool buildings--- u can't enter anymore.
Good news: u cán use ubode, BUT, not with the, supposedly mandatory ubode mesher!
Instead, use the classic Meshmerizer!
Yes, it produces a red warning on your command console, but, you can safely ignore that.
I have been using that Meshmerizer with ubode for more than a year....never any issue.
And: you can safely try it out: if, for whatever reason, ur not happy, simply revert the changes. On my personal experience, I might add: I prefer ubODE in any case, its faster,more reliable and uses less resources.
SO......make yourself a happy camper and ....ZZZZZWITCH.

NEWS from the animeshie front:
my next project, the dolphin gang, is developing..;
I am designing a system for the gang, to randomly pick a subscript from their contents, so each dol jumps, etc in a non-predictable way....I'll keep u posted:)

Hey, all animeshie fiddlers!:)
Im getting more frequent questions about my animeshing, things like smooth folding wings, a peacock opening and closing tail...etc.;
In this pic, u see my peregrin falcon, with coloured bone groups:
Not going into detail here, but, as an example: wings,that's arms;
feathers= fingers....I disected all the individual digits:))
So, yes, its pretty insane and an even worse amount of work, but hey..
that damm bird looks só amazing folding,spreading in slowmotion........
You can see him in action in my shop, sitting on his sellbox.

Hello again, all animeshy lovers!
Its been a bit of a struggle to overcome the last glitches and hurdles, but...its here...Perfectly smooth moving animals...at a minimal cost!
Each critter uses 2 eps...thats ridiculously low for a smooth roaming animeshie.
A well maintained sim can easily handle a few thousand events, so, before you'd get into
trouble, u gonna need rez a LOT of em,lol
The first, one of my favorites, is my zzwan, u can pick up a copy in my shop now
@ Zweet ZurroundingZ.

P.S: the new scripts are designed for ubODE ONLY, its the best for moving stuff.

Next ubODE favorite, my peacock!
He's so proud, and now, moving as smooth as a baby skin:)).
I also added a special extra, so he follows terrain perfectly as well; tested in my place, climbing up and going down again works fine!
Pls, keep in mind, all my new aniemeshies are designed for ubODE only; hate to disapoint the bullet-simmers, but, ubODE is the only fysics engine that allows to do what I've been creating. Before u start crying: the original Bulletsim peacock is still available as well, so, not as perfect, but still looking good:)

UPDATE:
from deep down the ubode swamp, a major breakthrough to be reported:
finally broke through the glass ceiling in opensim- perfect smooth roaming animals, at a minimum cost! usually, for smooth moving, coders grab KFM---which throws some 20+ eps in my face! The breakthrough:
I've developed a system that gives the perfect smooth, but, at 2 eps!
Its been tested now with 2 animals, a swimmer and a walker....so far so good.
I hope somewhere in the next week to add the first perfectissimosies to the shop!:)

Hello, roaming flock lovers!
Its been a mental rollercoaster, past months, to try and get a real smooth flying flocksie....and I slammed into the deadly hard Opensim limit of 20Hz....
It explains why people introduced things like KeyFramedMotion, to divide that gap into pieces---at the cost of a nasty load of events..
Which I explicitly ruled out of my world, since it would kill my place with 250+ roaming animals. So, I went into a crazy trench warfare with chatbots to find a solution, and, we've found a few nice tweaks; doesnt make a perfect smooth, but close enough without offering sim's or viewer's performance.
I'm still tweaking the internal details, but I will drop the Crane flock some time soon into me shoppie!
I'll keep u posted on that:)

I hate to break the news, but.....
we needed yet another upgrade;
I found that a sim restart, would return a dead flamsieflocky....
so, now, I've added an autostart function that makes the bunch come alive all by itself....imagine me, in a few months,,,,with some 10 diff kinda flocksies doing....NOT their thing...
All is set in zzhop, feel free to pick up your autoflamsie anytime!

Hello again from flamflock country.....
there were some nasty bugs in previous releases, all fixed now.
as u see in the pic, I tested a flock of 1145......steady as a rock and extrme low eps and zero! lag.....still find it hard to believe myself:)
Flamsie-2.0 is now available in my zzhop @ Zweet ZurroundingZ.
I'd love to hear your findings!

The next in the upgraded versions of my animesh animals: ZZUPERCRaaane.
I added an extra layer to the motion, using up/down while flying;
careful with changing settings, its delicately balanced, so make sure u keep track of original settings.
Now available in my zzhop @ Zweet ZurroundingZ.

after a half eternity of brain bashing, my new zero-lag projekt is finally taking off.

I can watch it swimming about endlessly without being bored.
mine is confined to a fairly small pond, but its lively behaviour works for me.
grab a copy, slamm it into your own water, do the menu fiddling and......

ANNOUNCEMENT:
working on my latest animesh roaming critters, I found myself in a predicament:
script load on sim would add up crazy with my intended, dozens of animeshies roaming, single, in flock,etc;
I've spent a hidious amount of time to overcome this bottleneck, and....guess what: I'm so close I can smell it ☺
Even more: its no longer 1 roaming and 1 anim script< I combined em into one clean - ZERO ! - lag version.
zero lag?....yes, Ive tested it to the bone:
effectively, script updates 1x per second, so its negligable in terms of impact on any angle;
I have now some 50+ roaming critters in ZweetZ: in the old state, that would lead to some 200 script events per second, or more....
With the new script....its between 5 and 10 in Statistics Bar, but thats the other scripts used in the sim, not the animals:)
and, of course, as far as I can tell now, I could another 50 without my server or sim give a blink!
I'm working hard on finalising it for my shop- unfortunatly, Im depending on chatgpt.....and he drives me bonkers with his hallucinations.
But, Persistence pays off......if you find it hard to believe, do visit my sim and head to the pond in centre of forest.....and after that, leave me review:)
P.S: the development and testing of lowlag script was done with default moving. That last step, upgrading it to KFM ( Key Framed Motion), prooved to be hard....but I got it working. The critters u see in the forest ( and shop) are with the default, but, the swan swimming in the pond, is the first with KFM !. Why kfm? It m,akes for a much smoother motion, no jerks etc . A bit more fine tuning required, then I'll post here when the new ones are available in my shop.

testing, testing.....all systems are a go! Peregrin is now available in shop, with handpose. Soon I hope to add a special version where it actually takes off for a roundabout flight.....thats just a pain to animate:)

Watching the falcon close up in the shop, I found too many glitches and uglies, so.....Peregrin 2.0: remapped the mesh, remastered the textures, improved rig...
You gotta love a challenge☺.
It's painstaking time-consuming, so, making the anims now for the ready birdie.....takes some more ♫ time, patience is the key.

We all love to fly, don't we?
So I decided to make a ridable version of my dragon, as rezzer, so all your visitors can get their own.
Its temp, no worry of littering your place.

For all of you interested in animesh: I made a new animated free roaming dragon thats now available for testing peer review. Pick up a copy in my shoppie, read the notecard and knock yourself out!
Lemme know if the notecard was clear enough...its a bit tricky with this roaming script....

I ran into some issues with the falcon so thats gonna take a bit^^
In the meantime, I thought it might be nice to offer my animesh peacock.
His walking isnt perfect, but its tail was my first succesful attempt to throw all the bones around to make the tail fold.
I may be redoing the anims in due course. Instructions included. Have fun!
