It's Halloween!!!! The Bayou Belle has picked up DJ Kith and the Blues Tribe and has made a very rare Halloween voyage around the region to N'Awlins where she has docked and is ready for you to embark on Bourbon Street for a once in a lifetime skating party around the French Quarter!! Didn't know we have a French Quarter on Wyldwood Bayou?? Yes we do!! Wyldwood Bayou is based on Louisiana's City of New Orleans, known as "The Big Easy" and is famous for its party atmosphere, epitomized by Mardi Gras! (Check it out! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Orleans ) Today, in honor of all that New Orleans, and Wyldwood Bayou Grid is about, DJ Kith spins his famous chill blues from the Paddlewheeler, the Bayou Belle, while we skate around town and explore! Look for signs (a walking tour too!) along the way that, when touched, will give notecards about the various buildings, venues, places of interest on the Wyldwood Bayou Region as well as some fun and interesting facts about the City of New Orleans! As IF Wyldwood Bayou Grid didn't have enough to offer with her musical venues, spectacular landscapes and regions, and her wonderful Fantasy and Roleplay groups, we are officially opening a brand new region today at 2:00 and DJ Rosa is our DJ of honor for this great event! "Wyld Thangs Ride Park" is a region catering to the WYLD in us all with an endless array of awesome things to do, including motocross on some of the most beautiful, and most trecherous roads in open sim, skatboarding at the skate park, Horseback Riding, hiking, swimming, cycling, an outdoor cinema and of course, MUSIC at our new venue on the lake!!
