here's a map of 256 regions 1024x1024 m each terraformed by ai. with the landscaper module it can be done rapidly i made a separate map tile generator that makes 256pixel square tiles rgba 8bit but looking at changing to 16bit and maybe half-res depending on VRAM usage. the 8bit rgba use about 64mb i suppose. switching to 16bit grayscale will go up to 96mb unless i go half-res. tinker time.. :)
