THANK YOU, MOSAIC, AND EVERYONE WHO STOOD IN THE QUEUE

The tribute to Linda Kellie is over; the park is quiet, the NPCs are still looping their reformatory musical, and I am still smiling. Thank you to the Mosaic team for coming over and for the kind words about the sim and the lighting.

At 10 grid time the park went into lockdown, rain and power blips hit both ends of the continent, Wanda glared at the crowd, and nobody left. Nearly fifty of you stood in the queue and loved it. The slots paid one in ten, the re-delivery terminal paid nothing, and Nine lost every time and kept playing. That is how you know the queue was working.

Special thanks to:

Light, for three hours of metal and neoclassical rock with finesse, and for summing up the day better than I could: “team work dude.”

Rio, for organizing everything and for being taxed a hundred pounds of dignity four separate times.

Jupiter, for two boxes of classic Linda Kellie clothing (tons of gift table goodies too) and the finest provenance statement in OpenSim history.

Kimm Starr @ TheZones and Cooper, for outfits that made the room envious and for the photography & animesh on the gift table...

Anne Robotson, for hosting The Weakest THINK and abusing everyone equally.

Thirza, for wearing a genuine Linda Kellie original and being brave about it.

Everyone who lived through the Menace in the Moat, the fashion show, the light rig, and the Chaos Cheese Factory.

The region was heavy and some of you were sardines at the low end of your frame rates; thank you for your patience, and for putting up with a scriptless event so the sim could stay stable.

What I want to bring back is the feeling of being a KID AGAIN. Thanks for playing in a world where inconvenience is the ART.
