Kaum zu glauben, aber nun liegt das letzte Neujahr schon wieder ein Jahr zurück. Heute ist schon wieder Silvester. Das Jahr ist geradezu an uns vorbei geflogen. Es kommt mir so vor, als ob das letzte Neujahr erst gestern gewesen wäre. Aber nun steht das neue Jahr schon vor der Tür. Ich wünsche euch, das ihr heute einen wunderschönen Abend verbringt. Habt Spaß, feiert das vergangene Jahr und kommt gut in das Neue. Für das neue Jahr wünsche ich euch, das alle eure Träume in Erfüllung gehen, das ihr die Vorsätze, die ihr euch vorgenommen habt, umsetzen könnt und das ihr gesund bleibt. Alles Gute für das neue Jahr!

Hallo ihr Lieben,
das Jahr ist fast zu Ende. Und wieder haben wir die Hälfte aller Vorsätze vom letzten Silvester nicht eingehalten. Ein guter Vorsatz wäre, dass wird das Ende des Jahres ordentlich feiern. Daher steigt im Soul-Grid eine Silvesterparty. Um 20 Uhr geht es los .

It was bound to happen sooner or later but I ended up making a weed.
Fluffy dandelions are out by the landing zone. They have several versions and particle fluff (wind enabled of course haha). The pieces are included separate so you can have with or without the floaty fluff and leaves etc.

Just to be clear, I have always pursued my own ideas in my work and have never been interested in replicating what others have done. Because of that my work is easily identifiable wherever it is on the hypergrid. So when I heard that I had stolen someone else's idea for a dance floor I laughed. Pictured above is an event at my Aeroclub on July 13th, 2018 on Bill Blight's old grid (OpensimLife), now gone since he retired. I was using arcane textures on dance floors even back then. When I built the Lotus Club early last year on Luxor I created a similar dance floor because that's what I liked. And no, it would never bother me that someone else got a similar idea on their own. I remember when Essensual bought my Grand Ballroom then invited me over to see it. She had completely remodeled it into a gorgeous Art Deco style. I could still see my objects and textures but I loved how she creatively rearranged everything and added in some of her own textures. That's the way it should be in Opensim.

New release today. I was intending to make these flowers for a while and finally did them. Day Lilies and "Tiger" Lilies. In my garden, the flowers I call Tiger Lilies are really just larger Day Lilies. The real Tiger Lilies are different, I know, but I named them as I knew them :).

Security orbs sometimes are needed, either to keep your privacy and protect your place from unwanted visitors or to grant access to a list of people only to certain places on your sim.

Many orbs works with a black list: that means they allow everyone and block whoever is in the list. Mine works with a white list: My orb will only grant access to whoever is in the list and reject everyone else.

It supports HG names and the area it covers is a cube, not a sphere, so it's easier to give a precise cover area for your security needs.

Also, you can resize it without break it =)

Making glass in-world is incredibly difficult, the glass must reflect something in order to be convincing, also it must have some completely opaque features (normally hard light reflections) and very transparent parts (reflections of a dark part of the environment).

On top of that challenge you need to somehow deal with the alpha bug (that bug that makes semi transparent things to flicker and appear in front of another part of the object when it should be at the back).

My Orange Juice set deals with all that using tricks I discovered while I did this object, for example to prevent the alpha bug you need to have two separate pieces, the inner part and the outer shell, if you make it one piece it will have the z-bug.

Of course I added an empty set (not OJ) for decoration too and it's a giver: it'll deliver a refreshing OJ glass to whom clicks on it =D

Well, I made the male goldfinch and afterwards I felt like I really should have done the female as well. So, I did. My apologies to anyone that took the box yesterday, I added the females to the same box. I just felt like he looked lonely.

I am old :) I don't care! So I really don't care what you think :) I may not have seen "attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion" but I've seen and done some stuff that doesn't involve sitting and whining in a text box. So have your pale fun or wake up and make a POSITIVE difference :)

Just finished a complete remodel of the store lobby at the Emporium and placed several new Art Deco pieces out for sale, including statues, a seating group, and a full bar. Pictured above is Bobby, a robot linked to chatgpt. In local chat, say his name followed by your question. He is very well-versed on Wolf Territories grid since Lone Wolf scripted him. Also, don't forget to grab your free copy of the garden pool in the center of the lobby.

A new release today. A very tiny one...it's a little goldfinch. I never made a bird before but I thought the bird bath perhaps needs one and maybe I'll be doing some other bird related things. This guy is in 2 versions, flat feet for the ground and feet to perch on branches and things. He also comes with and without random finch sounds. He's at the main shop by the bird bath of course :)

One of the toys I've saw in SL years and years ago was a tiny cat with a particle head, because it's a particle it's normal is perpendicular to your camera, regardless it's position or in other word: it looks at you always.

I loved that little thing and it was something I needed to recreate for us in open grid.

Here's my black cat, he looks at you intently.... always =D

But also he meows when you click on it!

This is a beautiful Heart Bezel solitaire in Ruby. It is bento rigged so it increased the LOD it is a bit heavy. The mesh was reduced 50% prior to rigging too. For those that demand bento, and to the ones who scream at me for being heavy, I have to say, sorry but had to do it!! You can find it in the Bento rings section in the Foyer.

The mate (pronounce it as mah-teh), is the name of a very local infusion like tea: the plant is called yerba mate, it has a very unique flavour and it's mainly consumed in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. The way of drinking mate is put ground yerba mate leaves on the recipient (also called mate, because we love to confuse people), and then add water. You drink it through a metal straw called bombilla.

My mate is a literal copy of the one I use everyday at home, it's a giver so when you click on it, it'll give you a mate and a thermos to refill it, exotic!

The bridges installed next to the shops are the very last pure prim builds I've ever did.

These relics of the past are still available on the shop, and I personally still use the bridge's columns for other purposes. This clearly demonstrates that prims have it's place in the metaverse along with mesh.

Fitted mesh was a middle step between the classic mesh were you had to choose your clothes between several sizes and bento mesh that has a great deal of flexibility.

Fitted mesh adapts pretty well to most regular avatars but it's never perfect as you need to add an alpha layer to prevent parts of the avatar to poke through the clothes.

This minidress was one of my first attempts to make a fitted mesh for girls, it comes in several colours and I included all the textures in the box, so you can customize it to your taste perfectly.

I've a railing kit available at the shop, it's inspired in aeronautic materials and construction, the holes on the supports are to reduce weight while keeping it structurally sound.

The kit is counter intuitive: the longest axis goes into the air and the handrail is hanging down instead of the usual arrangement. This adds a bit of interest at a visual level but also performs a practic function: It frees the pedestrian space so you can get as close at the handrail as possible without bumping against a piece of metal. The reason of that is my own experience stumbling upon railings in ocean cruisers, it's not fun.

The Fokker Dr.1 had a rotary engine, that means the whole engine rotated with the propeller, it was cutting edge tech for WWI! However those engines couldn't actually throttle, you could make it slightly faster and slower by modifying the mix of fuel/air and that was that.

My replica tries to emulate that by allowing you to throttle it from 70% to 100% only, so to land you need to actually cut the engine and if you want to stop once on land you need to turn your engine off, otherwise you will end smacking your tushy against something and no one wants that, right? =D

The Lunar Roving Vehicle I offer at the shop is based on the Apollo XV mission, the first one that used the vehicle.

To make it as accurate as possible I found the original Boeing manual for the thing and copied it as best as I could, each Apollo mission had a slightly different LRV, particularly the tools it carried, this one was the simplest one so to save geometry and make it as light as possible I choose the very first one that went to the moon.

You can try it at the runway or just get your copy, it's easy to drive as it doesn't have gears, just sit and drive!
