We're throwing an impromptu swamp stompin' party at 10 am grid time, this Saturday 13 April at the DIP Campgrounds. Watch out for ill-tempered gators that will send you directly to our newly-not-yet-built emergency department! Also keep an eye on whatever else is creeping around in those waters. It's huge, it's green, and it's scaly, and I'm not sure what it is or what its intentions are. I recommend just going around it. We got beer, bring crawfish! A new area in Georgetown! Georgetown Downs Horse Park and Northern Lights Casino is open! We will race horses here with each other. There is an obstacle course as well for those wishing to try to get around it. Inside the casino, there are games you can play, a beautiful patio facing the water where you can watch the ships roll past. Have a drink in the bar, or dinner in the restaurant.
