Clarification regarding Avatarfest's history.

I started Avatarfest in 2015 during a time when there was uncertainty about wether there would be a OSCC.

Avatarfest was a strictly non-commercial amateur focused festival which was intended to highlight what end users did in opensim.

From 2015 until 2018 Eyrn Galen and I ran the festival every fall with the help of people from the community. But at the end of the day Avatarfest was her and I.

In 2018 I  pulled the plug. I was burned out ...and I had a suspicion that I was out of touch with the community. In 2019 Opensimfest began and involved at least a couple of people who contributed...greatly... to Avatarfest.

But that's the extent that Avatarfest and OpensimFest are related. In the early days we (Avatarfest) were cited as an inspiration - cool, actually a positive. I was happy that someone picked up the torch and did their own separate and distinct effort, following their own vision.

But at no time did either Eryn or myself endorse Opensimfest and Avatarfest did NOT turn into Opensimfest or any other festival.

I wish OSfest well, but it is it's own separate endeavor with it's own separate history (a history longer than Avatarfest's I'll add).

In closing, Avatarfest did not rebrand as anything else, Avatarfest ceased to exist on closing day 2018.
