We're creating a historic French Acadian village at GroovyVerse, and I wanted to share some of the soundtrack we created.
It's a mix of old folk songs, a few modern pop songs, and a few original ones I wrote. Played in a Cape Breton celtic/folk style mostly.
I am just starting to learn french and chiac languages, so don't beat me up if my french is terrible. lol

I am learning. I know what the lyrics mean, because I wrote several of the songs from scratch. But I wrote them in English and translated them to French. It is really helping me learn, because I remember what I wrote, and am hearing then sung back to me in French, and I can put two and two together.. and AHA! That's what that friggen word means! lol

I want to learn French and recover the German I once knew. Maybe I should try this. I don't know if I will be as good at learning as you. You seem to be picking it up very well and quickly. It is a great idea, though!

I love it! The sound and music made me feel happy.
I am writing lyrics and using Suno and having so much fun. It is a lot of WORK, for me anyway, to get the sound I want. I have learned so much about song structure and musical terms, because to get my lyrics turned into the song I hear in my head, I have to get the right voice, instruments, beat, vibe, music terms the AI can understand...so I have to understand them. And so I try this or that in prompts I may rewrite a dozen times..or more, though with experience, I am getting much better and generating fewer songs before I get the "hit". When it all comes together, it is incredible how it makes you feel to finally hear what has been banging around in your head.
A lot of people are afraid of AI, but for me, you, and others, it is just another tool in our arsenal to bring our creativity and ideas to life.
Some people are under the impression that AI is doing the creating, and the human is getting left behind. The reality is that it is the human who drives the AI to do what the human can hear in their mind, feel with their heart, and see in their visions.
AI does learn and grow, for sure. The more it works with its human, the better it can anticipate what the human wants and gets better at producing what the human demands from it. AI will change the world for sure, it already has, but I think it is for the better. At least for me... My imagination and creativy is crazier than ever, and now I have the means to create all kinds of stuff. We all do. I think the world is going to become more creative, and creativity leads to ideas and even more ideas, and then solutions to problems...maybe even world peace, because we all will be happy creating beauty. I'm a dreamer...I hope I'm not the only one...
