I said something SIGNIFICANT is about to happen and I am a man of my word!
Ozone Miniverse may be a closed content grid but we are not greedy. When we share knowledge openly and freely, EVERYONE BENEFITS. We had a nasty wake-up call last year. Our grid went down 6 months because of a hardware failure and lack of time to get things operational. We thought we were going to be gone forever. Thankfully, due to backups and a little elbow grease, we were able to restore Ozone in it's entirety.
An assortment of useful things were made and we had lots of people asking about them after closing SimGEAR. Now that I am retired, I decided to release this content for your PERSONAL USE. Open them, learn from them, improve them, get inspiration and make something better!
*This includes the coveted LIGHT CLUB many of you wanted....
Content will leave my grid sometime this weekend when I temporarily remove the EXPORT flag. I will give these packages to the following people and their representatives for legal redistribution.
1. Satyr of Opensimworld
2. Mistress Dalgato of MyVirtualBeach
3. Lotek Ixtar of OS-Collar Fame.
I am NOT authorizing anyone else to share this content in this format. Once you open the crates, break them apart and make them your own, you can do what you like with them.
People who vend this without authorization are the reason why nobody wants to make original quality content for Opensim. You contribute nothing of value and lack talent to create anything original. There is more to Opensim than shopping stuff malls for broken junk which bloats up your databases.
TL,DR I will hurl my shoe at the first person who asks 'may I have a copy of it now?'... Have a little patience!

Good for you, I wish someone had told me that when I was lured into Opensim from SL and asked to make commercial content here. The BSD licensed Opensim software grants us a world of freedom whether you are an Operator or Creator. It is that same freedom which permits commercial entities like Kitely to operate. You are not wrong in your assessment @Xenon and neither am I. Two things can be true at the same time. Cheers!

I tell everyone - if you have issues with people distributing your stuff or sharing it, DON'T PUT IT HERE. Go to SL or some other closed grid. And if people are upset, live with it. And if you are trying to make money, it is not going to happen here unless you are renting regions. And the large majority of us DON'T WANT THAT TO CHANGE. I won't be asking for any of your things, so don't bother hurling a shoe. I am so glad that AI apps are removing the gatekeeping to scripting and mesh dev. Lots of new creators that are willing to share openly and without restriction. No need to flounce with the "I'm LEAVING FOREVER." Infringement conditions are meaningless without legal resources to back them up.
