since .net8 and .net9 are end of life in november we are going to update our servers to .net10 and make a few major changes to the code. first off we will remove the ini based configuration system and introduce two new servers, an estate service and a region registry. an isolated opensim server will run the regions for an estate. this will also give a better interface for self-hosters who want to own their data.we are still in planning stages and comments/suggestion appreciated thanks much. graphic ai generated so i didn't have to spend an hour making it hehe.
