I've been experimenting with Voice. Mumble has been tossed around for quite a while as an option. But who needs that aggro? For Mumble:
The client-side burden is the big one. Every single user on a grid who wants voice has to manually replace their SLVoice.exe. That's not a one-time thing either — any time they reinstall Firestorm or update it, they may have to do it again. For a grid of substantial size, this is real friction. You'll need solid documentation and probably a pinned announcement, and you'll still get support tickets. ----- I don't want to deal with that! So, now I found out that Opensimulator Core, and the NGC ships with Janus/Web-RTC out-of-the-box. Well, it's not spatial, from what research shows, but it is great reliable sound, and it works grid-wide, with no individual region set-up needed!

Follow these steps:
Step 1 — Upgrade Robust
Add the WebRTC voice connector to your Robust.ini.
One server, one config change.
Step 2 — Stand up Janus
Spin up a Janus Docker container on your server. Lightweight, easy, one-time setup.
Step 3 — Wire them together
Point Robust at Janus via the ini config. Done. Every region on the grid gets voice automatically.
NO individual separate Region set-up needed.
NO need for your User's to have to configure their Client, every time they Update their Viewer!
