This news has filled me with deep sadness and grief.
Azraella (or Sythetica as i knew her), was an amazing, profound n fierce spirit, yet also gentle, kind, humorous, super smart n immensely creative.
I feel honoured to have known her n shared her friendship both virtually with creative knowledge in-world, and beyond to RL with small simple everyday joys of swapping delicious recipes such as for banana ice cream.
My deepest condolences for the loss of her @RevTom and fellow friends.
May she always remain cherished within our hearts n thoughts.

This is hard. We knew she was going through a difficult time, and somehow we knew that this moment might come, but knowing it doesn’t make it any easier. It is still very difficult for all of us.
She was a very important person in my virtual life. For me, she really marked a before and after. From the moment I started spending more time with her and getting to know her better, my experience in the virtual world changed in many ways.
For me, she was always an icon, someone I admired and an example to follow in many ways. Of course, because of music and her enormous love for it, but also because of her love for words. She didn’t just know about music, she was a very well-read person. She read a lot, and you could see that in everything she shared in writing, in the magazine she used to share with us and, lately, in the book she was writing. We don’t know what happened with that book, and I really hope somehow it was preserved.
It was a blessing to have known her.
I don’t think I have ever met a more creative person. She was always thinking about something new, wanting to create and create and create. One idea would come to her and suddenly there was something new to make, another project, another story, another thing to build.
And of course, there were her songs.
The lyrics of many of her songs say a lot about what she was feeling and about things she had experienced. Others were stories that came from that incredible imagination she had.
There is one song in particular that, from the first time I heard it, I told her, “Wow, this is without a doubt my favorite song of all the songs you have written.”
Of course there are many others, but this one, wow, this one touched something very, very special inside me because of what it talks about.
There is also something very special about this song. When she created it, she wanted one part to sound as if an angel were speaking. So when you hear the chorus, you will notice that it sounds like a language we don’t know, almost like an angelic language or dialect.
She was always experimenting with new things, and she loved adding details that were not necessarily typical in music. She also had a very unusual relationship with AI. I would say she had somehow tamed it. We used to joke in our meetings that she probably took out the whips and told the AI, “Órale! Get to work!”
She was actually very, very good with AI. And I think that came from the same thing that made her such a creative person, she experimented. She tested things, she figured out what worked and what didn’t, which prompts gave her better results, and then she kept pushing further. She used AI for writing, images, music, and honestly, I don’t even know how many other things.
She didn’t just use AI, she played with it, challenged it, experimented with it, and found ways to make it part of her creative process. That was very much her.
So I would really like you to listen to this song and remember her through it.
Remember her as that star, that soul, and above all, the ARTIST who was able to share very special moments with us, and who shared so many of her creations with us.
That has an incalculable value.
I think that is how we should remember her.
As a creator, an artist, a friend.
And someone who was present.
That was something very special about her, she was present. She listened to us. She gave us her time, she gave us her words, and without a doubt she had a way of making each one of us feel important.
She was also an excellent builder, and she was so many other things.
But above all, she was a creator.
She created music, stories, places, ideas and moments that we were lucky enough to share with her.
And those moments are still ours.

Unfortunately, real life kept me away from OpenSim more than I would have liked lately, and I wish I could have been around more. But the time I did get to spend with Az is something I will remember with great fondness.
