Now it rots in the salt air - Cracked streets snake between leaning wooden buildings that once housed markets and homes.
The government pulled out years ago, corporations followed, and what remains is a narrow band of existence: a few cyber survivors, humans who refused—or couldn’t afford—to follow.

Those people that stayed behind—fishers, scavengers, smugglers, ghosts with names no one remembers anymore. They eke out a living from the black water, Markets pop up at dusk under flickering signs that haven’t been serviced in years. Some lights still turn on at night.
