Community Update:

After careful reflection on recent experiences, we want to clarify an important policy regarding the Gracie and Dexter Community Dump and all associated dumps in our network.

While we originally welcomed the idea of sharing the concept across grids, it has become clear that all dumps must now be operated exclusively by DreamGrid grid owners. This decision is necessary to ensure we can properly manage licensing, permissions, and the protection of contributed content.

Fred Beckhusen’s Outworldz DreamGrid operates under a formal license that governs what can be shared, reused, and distributed. Unfortunately, grids not licensed under DreamGrid—such as Groovyverse—are outside this ecosystem, making it impossible for us to monitor or guarantee the legal and ethical use of items left in the dumps.

To honor the spirit of the community and respect the work of original creators, we will continue offering our DreamGrid-only dumps as safe, fun spaces for sharing, humor, and creativity. Gracie and Dexter, our beloved dung beetle mascots, remain part of this original vision, and they will always have their rightful home here.

I have been creating and apologize for not focusing on more crap for the dump, we invite EVERYONE to come on out and dump something from inventory to contribute to our dump! It isn't all about just coming to pick stuff up the idea is a place to dump some of our neat old or new crap that others might need, so it is about both, dumping and hauling off. This is a replica of a RL rocker I have, rusted horseshoe rocker. I created it trying to make the shoes rusted looking so they are missing a few "faces" on the mesh, to try to resemble rusted out, I am still working to make it better but this is at the dump, it is a fun addition to western themed sims.

Gracie and Dexter Dung Beetle, an official NPC mascot symbolizing hard work, transformation, and finding beauty in the most unexpected places. Gracie was not just a character; she represented the spirit of resilience and ingenuity that our community was built upon.

Unfortunately, some members of the organization decided that Gracie no longer belonged and expressed a desire to remove her. As an owner of the organization, this was heartbreaking to hear.
