The new opensimworld HUD is out. This is a major update of the HUD. You can now instantly like a region and add to your bookmarks from in-world. As always you can access your bookmarks instantly and also go to the OSW page of the region that you are visiting. Also, you no longer have to worry about re-entering the HUD key. Go to our region to get it, along with the latest beacon.

Some places are built.
TumbleTwig grew out of an imagination.

What began as a little idea for a world where frogs and fairies might live has slowly become one of my favorite places in 3HG.

Follow the winding paths through the flowers, wander beneath the old trees, peek inside the tiny woodland homes, or simply sit beside the water and listen to the fountains. You never quite know what you might discover around the next bend.

Free Gifts in the Stump!

TumbleTwig is open to the public at 3HG.

Aphra Hendrix: Thank you Vlad, you are right. Just needed to post that picture, now with remark of private comment. As you see, it will not be on frontpage, it is just a picture added. I wrote to him about my artwor... 6 hours ago
FYI: https://osgrid.online/news/the-end-of-the-road/ Jim Tarber is working on a new virtual world architecture right now called Homeworldz. https://homeworldz.com Note: pictures are of HomeWorldz, as I seem to not be able to login to Osgrid now.

“Will Homeworlds be free like OSG was?”

Aye, though it's not quite ready yet... We can register though IM's are not quite working yet, and a few other things still need to be implemented. Jim has even put it on Github already. Check the Road maps for server and client. https://homeworldz.com/roadmap/server https://homeworldz.com/roadmap/client

“From what I understand homeworldz is just like OSGrid“

Maybe similar, but he's using completely new code, and he does have regions larger than 256×256 working on it, plus even rectangular regions, not just square.

Ye all can join the partay over at the HomeWorldz channel in the "InWorldz Lifeboat" server if ye so desire. https://discord.gg/5sav7Vmtcb

Typhaine Artez: Plus github only shows a facade, it's totally obscure what and how it's made, and smells the hidden business research. I'd avoid that like hell unless goals and its nature are clarified. In a general ... 48 minutes ago
