To ensure a smooth and stable experience for everyone, please take the following steps carefully:
🧹 Before doing anything:
Clear your viewer caches (both textures and inventory).
Reload your regions (OARs) first using the following command:
load oar test.oar --force-assets
(Replace test.oar with the name of your own OAR file)
For IARs (inventory backups), please wait a little longer before uploading. Let’s take it step by step.
🌀 At LBSA Plaza:
You’ll find a question mark “?” on the plaza. Clicking it will help you stop appearing as a cloud.
Don’t forget to wear the folder offered through it to restore your avatar appearance properly.
🔄 Simulator update required:
Make sure to update your sim to the latest code on the website:

Soda, did you get an iar before they shut it down? They had to zero out all our inventories.

I do not even know what an IAR is, so I am going to say no on that. Anyway, my park is just as I left it and if I have to start over for my avi ...well, I never turn down a reason to shop =)

Jamie, sweety, please understand that you are right, they did give people the opportunity to get their IAR's - however, most of the IAR's were badly damaged and when they realized this, they stopped people from getting them and made the decision to erase the entire asset server.

Some people may have taken iars before that though too. Or boxed stuff on their OAR or the designated spots OSG made available.

I recall paela opened up her server for IAR backups. I did one there. Honestly, if mine is broken, I don't care. I'll gladly rebuild from nothing and make some new ones. Thinking of making sure my avis in OSgrid have only open source components this time. :)

I am so happy to be home again . I only now realize how much I took it for granted and how much I would miss it , ty to the Admins for all your dedicated work to bring Osgrid back and better as before . :)) Well done!!
