Thanks for reminding me of this and yes it explains much.

Having said that, I've met people as poor as dust and with almost zero education that were always welcoming and willing to share what little they had.

Small pockets of sanity in the maelstrom :)

You are quite correct. There are always exceptions to the rule. Exceptions in both directions of course. For instance, most Tory MP's had a "privliged" education, yet have some important part of their soul missing. non the less.
