Gino’s Butterfly, a long-standing memorial sim in Kitely, recently received a beautiful upgrade to its Beverly Hills section. The sim honors the memory of Karima Hoisan’s dearest real-life friend, Gino, who was a celebrated fashion designer in 1950s and 60s Beverly Hills. Gino left behind an incredible catalog of original fashion sketches, works that continue to inspire to this day. These designs recently sparked the creativity of Kimm Starr, who brought them to life in a live fashion show, celebrating both Gino’s artistic legacy and the timeless elegance of his vision.

Stell dir vor, die erbarmungslose Hitze der kalifornischen Wüste brennt dir auf die Haut, während der Sand unter deinen Stiefeln knirscht. Aus dieser unwirtlichen Landschaft, geformt von glühendem Fels und der unendlichen Weite des Himmels, erhob sich Ende der 90er-Jahre eine musikalische Urgewalt, die das Rock-Genre für immer prägen sollte: Queens of the Stone Age. Eine Band, die nicht nur Töne formte, sondern die Seele des Desert Rock destillierte und sie in eine neue, düstere und doch unwiderstehlich groovende Form goss. Angeführt von dem charismatischen und oft undurchsichtigen Josh Homme, begannen sie einen Kreuzzug gegen musikalische Konventionen, zogen eine Schneise der Verwüstung durch die Hörgewohnheiten und hinterließen ein Erbe, das so monolithisch ist wie die Felsen, aus denen sie einst krochen. Ihre Musik ist ein Cocktail aus treibenden Riffs, hypnotischen Rhythmen und Hommes unverwechselbarem Gesang – eine Mischung, die gleichermaßen betäubt und elektrisiert, wie ein Kaktusstachel, der tief ins Fleisch dringt, nur um ein Feuer in deinen Venen zu entzünden. Dies ist die Geschichte einer Band, die sich weigerte, sich den Erwartungen zu beugen, und stattdessen ihre eigene, raue und unvergessliche Legende schmiedete.

The Majestic Ballroom exterior has been completely remodeled and the venue is now complete at Lunaria Emporium with full pbr textures (the build also has similar older fallback textures for those using non-pbr viewers).

Includes lighting controls and these extras: a full Art Deco Bar, ballroom dining set, a palm tree, a ground spotlight, a bird chandelier, two Art Deco framed prints, two Art Deco tall Lamps, three instruments and a microphone (all unscripted), and a lotus flower candle. These are for you to use any way you like and can be copied and modified, but nothing may be given away except the art prints and the instruments which come full perm.

If you're just exploring, be sure to pick up the art prints and instruments for free inside the ballroom. You can find the ballroom by clicking the Art Deco teleport sign inside the lobby on the left as you walk in. Important note: if you land on the top of the cinema complex when you first arrive at the Emporium, take a single step forward to activate the teleporter to the lobby.

Ihre Konzerte waren keine bloßen musikalischen Darbietungen, sondern kathartische Ereignisse, bei denen die Grenzen zwischen Bühne und Publikum verschwammen und eine gemeinsame Ekstase der Zerstörung und des Klangs entstand.
