Today, I’ll focus on some classic films.
La Cage aux Folles. This 1978 film “inspired a major Broadway musical and the blockbuster remake The Birdcage. But with its hilarious performances and ahead-of-its-time social message, there’s nothing like the audacious, dazzling original movie.”
The film is part of the Criterion Collection, a continuing series of important classic and contemporary films. To see the films in the collection, you can stream it on Criterion Channel with a paid subscription, or see them free on Kanopy.
The Boys in the Band is a 1970’s drama that is among the early major American motion pictures to revolve around gay characters, often cited as a milestone in the history of gay cinema, and thought to be the first mainstream American film to use the swear word "cunt". (Netflix did a new adaption in 2020).
Rent. The 2005 movie adaptation of the critically acclaimed drama/musical that was one the longest-running shows on Broadway.

This fun train was something I had created on the old grid under that avatar name, but I still have it and decided to put it out for folks to enjoy. It's a cute little train that would be adorable in any "park" or "playground" setting and it fits adults and kids a like. If you're region is a park or fun ride theme this little gem would work perfectly even if it does just have you going in circles (pun intended). We are constantly adding new stuff to our Mall region and today we are adding sculpted steps, roofs, pillars and columns. You will also find scripted doors, various windows regular and arched, prefab walls with the windows already installed, arched and regular door frames, fences, walls and gates. We will also be adding to our other departments things like picnic tables, covered decks (sculpted), and plenty of new items in our Holidays & Seasons department. One of the biggest challenges to horse owners is having large, beautifully landscaped areas to ride. the second challenge is having ridable trails over uneven terrain. It sounds simple, but can sometimes make a person say bad words when building it. then you also have issues of will the horses physics work on the uneven terrains.
At friends grid we offer the amazing horses from my friend,Roland Francis, and we have two totally different trails for you to enjoy. Now, you can now bring your own horse!
Friends Stables - Enjoy a ride which will take you through the beautiful stable area with ocean views, continue on to the working friends farm. and then ride over the mountains and into the beautiful rainforest! There are many different trail options here.

Friends Mall - this is a beautiful easy trail located in back of the mall. This is a simple trail...you cannot get lost. You will ride along the landscaped path viewing the ocean and gradually climb high into the mountains.
