I have to comment here again: As of now, Amoa is the only actual strictly nude beach sim on the Hypergrid, at least the only one that isn't for a closed circle.
I mean, what was there before Amoa? Nude Beach (
https://opensimworld.com/hop/84807) drops you onto a sim that's nude-only in its entirety according to signs. But they're just signs, and they aren't enforced. There's nothing keeping you from walking around the entire sim fully clothed which I guess just about everyone actually does. The same went for the now probably defunct Love Island (
https://opensimworld.com/hop/80541).
Nudist Island (
https://opensimworld.com/hop/75906) allows nudity everywhere, swimwear on the wooden platforms and streetwear only in the landing area so you won't break the dress code just by teleporting into an unknown sim. In other words, the ground is nude-only. But again, no enforcement of the rules at all. Only staff could do that, and I guess they haven't visited their own sim in years.
There are lots of clothing-optional, clothing-optional-but-it-has-to-be-swimwear or downright nude-only places on the Hypergrid where you'll very likely end up the only one naked amongst avatars clad in full streetwear (or clubwear in the cases of most female avatars).
People will wonder why you're naked. (Duh, because it's allowed or even officially encouraged here.)
If you're a guy, women will demand you put on clothes because they're disturbed and offended by your nudity. (Well, then don't go to Adult-rated sims that say "nude" or "clothing optional" in their description.)
If you're a girl, sleazy macho guys wearing too much for summer, let alone a beach, will try to get you laid. (And they'll want to take you home for it, regardless of dozens of pieces of sex furniture right there on the beach, and refuse to take of a single piece of garment until five seconds before the deed.)
The Amoa Nude Beach is different from all these places in one important point: You have no other choice than to go naked.
No, you really don't. The red line that separates the small landing peninsula from the vast rest of the sim is not only for show. It's a technical barrier. You walk past it with clothes on, thinking it's as harmless those "Nude beach; no clothes allowed" signs, you'll be teleported back to the landing area.
Now you may think you can easily outsmart the system. Teleport past it from the landing area with clothes on so you won't, technically speaking, walk across that line. You will get teleported to the landing area. I've actually seen this happen. I guess if you try to teleport right into the nude-only area with clothes on, you'll get sent back to the landing area as well. Either that, or you can only teleport into the landing area.
You can only get in there naked. This is actually a nude beach where you absolutely have to be nude, full stop, no discussion, no loopholes.
It's a big advantage for nudists and generally for people who like to go nude on beaches. You won't feel weird being nude amongst otherwise fully clothed people. Not even amongst people in swimwear. If there are other avatars, they're nude, too, just like you. Everyone will be in their birthday suit, not only you, everyone.
Nobody will go on your nerves by asking why you're naked. Not if naked is standard because everyone is.
Prudish, uptight "puritans" who complain about moral decay upon seeing naked people simply won't be able to enter the sim beyond the landing area (unless they go naked, too, which they won't). Neither will sleazy macho types who define their "status" through badass clothes. And neither will Peeping Toms (again, unless they go naked themselves).
Speaking of which, the sim is designed in such a way that zooming in onto the party areas from the landing area is at least difficult, if not outright impossible.
If you want to check this place out, but if you also want to stay clothed, well, pick one. Sorry, but you can't have both. If you absolutely, totally HAVE to see this place, then wait for it to be empty and devoid of other avatars. This sim isn't busy 24/7, it's usually empty for hours each day. Undress at home (just in case you won't be able to undress there; it also keeps you from desperately trying to walk into the sim clothed). Take a deep breath. Teleport in. Check out the empty sim where nobody can see you naked.
If you should panic because someone enters the sim while you're there, Ctrl+Shift+H is your friend; it'll teleport you out of the sim and back home in a jiffy. But trust me, you don't have to, at least not if it happens to be the sim staff. They're happy to see new naked visitors on their sim.
