In Loving Memory of Golpher Gopheller

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Golpher Gopheller, a longtime resident of Twiztid Timez Grid and a dear friend to many. Golpher passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. He was 72 years old.

Born on July 28, 1954, in Tampa, Florida, Golpher was the beloved son of the late Alfred and Bonnie Amedy.

He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard, dedicating many years to honorable service before retiring. Throughout his career and his life, he carried a deep sense of duty, integrity, and commitment.

Golpher is survived by his loving wife, Shaldyn Amedy; his daughter, Janessa Pierdes; his brother, Mark Amedy; and two cherished grandchildren.

Within Twiztid Timez Grid, Golpher was much more than a resident—he was a treasured friend and an important part of our community. His friendship, kindness, strength, and wonderful presence touched the lives of many. The memories he created with us will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

We are currently planning a memorial service and celebration of Golpher’s life. The date, time, and additional details will be announced within the next few days.

Golpher will be deeply missed and forever loved.

May he rest in peace.

There’s something wonderfully peaceful about being a mermaid in Aquamica. You dip beneath the surface, give your tail a gentle flick, and find yourself surrounded by thousands of colorful fish. Bright blue tangs weave through the reef, striped butterflyfish pass close by, and angelfish drift past with their long, flowing fins. Turquoise and pink parrotfish nibble at the coral while little orange clownfish peek out from their anemones. Sometimes a whole school of silver fish turns at once, catching the light so beautifully that you stop swimming just to watch.

You can spend ages exploring the reef and still notice something new each time. Pink and purple corals grow beside broad, layered shelves, and tiny fish shelter among their branches. Sea fans sway gently as turtles paddle overhead or pause to feed in the seagrass. Below you, southern stingrays lie partly buried in the sand, so well hidden that you might only notice their eyes and the faint outline of their bodies. One lifts from the seabed in a little cloud of sand, then glides away with slow ripples of its wide fins. Along the rocky edges of the reef, moray eels peer from caves and narrow crevices, their heads just visible in the shadows. You linger nearby, watching one retreat into its hiding place as a turtle passes above.

When you feel like exploring farther, old ruins and shipwrecks wait beyond the coral. You swim beneath weathered stone archways and around fallen columns, following fish through passages that seem to lead somewhere forgotten. A wreck appears ahead, its broken mast leaning over a hull covered in coral. Inside, little fish hover around rotting timbers, and a moray has claimed a dark corner as its home. Then you catch a glimpse of something unexpected—the pale figure of a pirate drifting beside an old doorway. Ghosts of the crew linger around the wreck, appearing between the beams or standing watch near a battered treasure chest. You might feel a little shiver of excitement as you swim closer, wondering what stories they could tell. Whether you’re exploring with other mermaids or enjoying a quiet adventure on your own, Aquamica gives you plenty of reasons to stay beneath the waves a little longer.

Come as a mermaid, scuba diver or come as you are. We want you to experience the underwater worlds of Aquamica!

The Avatar loader lets you upload Avatars including the textires with a few clicks. Not only that, you can upload GLB/GLTF. DAE and FBX files! and use DAE and FBX types with auto rigged armatures from sites like Mixamo and Tripo Ai.

A build in MCP server lets you control your grid from most AI systems - just type in a phrase such as "Find all regions that have the word "sandbox" and shut them off"

And I've used the Animation convertor and released over 2000 new animations. These are free, work in Opensim and are professionaly Motion Captured.

Hidden somewhere inside Wednesday at Midnight is a special collection containing numerous animations prepared by Fred Beckhusen of Outworldz.
The original motion-capture data comes from the Carnegie Mellon University Graphics Lab Motion Capture Database. Fred converted the motion data into animations that can be used by OpenSim avatars.
And there’s more new DreamGrid technology behind this year’s hunt!
The Wednesday at Midnight hunt gifts were created and uploaded using Fred’s new DAE/GLTF/FBX Uploader in DreamGrid.

SVPortal v2.0 Beta 1 is now available.

This release brings the new setup registry to replace most of the configuration in config.php (some items have to stay there - like database connection details: you cant get the database connection details from the database until you know how to connect to the database!)

Existing users will need to upgrade their grid settings, and a script is provided to do this - but please read the note on the download at https://www.glenysbieler.com/svportal/.
