I guess I'm going a little crazy with Meshy AI and Blender, but I just can't seem to help myself. As part of the book I'm writing, one of the species included are Angelic like flying Lions that I call Lamassu. So I put the information in Meshy and it gave me a really cool winged lion which I was able to convert to a collada file in Blender and upload as a mesh build and it included the textures. I really want to dig into Meshy, but my lack of blender knowledge sort of makes it a moot point. Everything I create has too many triangles? And cannot seem to be resized. I don't know.

A lot of the mesh generating algorithms (3d scans, photogrammetry, etc) can create huge amounts of vertices. Maybe meshy does as well. I've used a variety of tools to pare down the large number of vertices, like: delete loose, decimate, merge by distance. There will be a point where overusing those tools ruins the mesh, it all depends on the mesh. These tools can be found at:
edit mode --> mesh --> clean up --> delete loose
edit mode --> mesh --> clean up --> decimate geometry
edit mode --> mesh --> clean up --> merge by distance
or
object mode --> modifier properties --> add modifier --> decimate
The order I usually use them in could be: delete loose, then merge by distance (a few times), then decimate. It does take a while to get accustomed to using them.
