I get it. You don't like an auto-eject that knocks you off-line. Valid complaint. But the "Censorship and Discrimination" part? You say that auto-banning is censorship and discrimination. Following European law, as they must, discriminates against grids they must block. Just like I discriminate between people who would do me well, and people who would do me harm. You think that's wrong? And censorship. Is that like free speech? You are free to tell your boss "You are an ass." Your boss is free to say, "You are fired." You've been censored! The world weeps for you, my friend. Even so, the grid is very happy to avoid harm, by following the law and member regions deleting comments that unfairly disparage them.

On X theres already enough anonymous that already brings major problems all over the world, so NO anonymous here, theres no need for a virtual world as long as u dont start insulting and swearing, dont hide, be OPEN.

Believe the MAGA media in the USA and you will come across some ludicrous nonsense about people in the UK being arrested for their online posts, but they have been arrested because they have crossed a threshold and wat they have published has become incitement or in itself hate speech. Freedom of speech is highly respected in the UK and though recently we have seen one organisation (Palestine Action) contraversionally banned under a very badly framed ant-terror law from the year 2000 . A court case has determined that the ban is unlawful.

Right-wing Christian 'pro-life' groups praying in public directly outside of abortion clinics are doing so unlawfully as they are forbidden from gathering within a certain distance of the clinics because they are harassing and intimidating women using the clinics. Those groups are perfectly free to protest and pray in public, should they choose to, so long as they are at least 150 metres away and comply with all traffic obstruction rules. Though these groups are allowed to exist, most people regard them as total weirdos.

At least we don't yet have a fascist president who allows masked, uniformed, armed thugs to murder citizens in the street with impunity or to abduct and deport law-abiding citizens to other countries because they happen to have a brown skin.

I don't know what the issue is with Zetaworlds, and I personally don't go there because there are things going on there that are being played extremely close to the grain, in my opinion. However recently the UK government has introduced compulsory age verification for websites containing adult material, and that could be the reason that Zetaworlds is imposing the age check, which does require verification using RL ID. But as a grid, the owner is perfectly entitled to impose whatever rules he or she likes. If you don't like those rules, don't go there. That is the overriding rule of Opensim, we are free to make our own rules on our own worlds. I ban anyone I know who is a Trump supporter or fascist on my virtual land.

Every resident in the metaverse has a RIGHT to privacy. Surely the Opensim developers would have baked in things like age verification if they wanted their users to be subjugated by it.

Nope, I used the HOP address provided by stark on the OSW page. I could not travel anywhere. Nothing against you personally, there are nice people on Zeta, many of them could be unaware of this action from their Admin. I am surprised Stark has not applied pressure to their ADMIN based on the number of complaints on their page.

well these can cause problems. i have seen people try to tp into a grid and their gateway does not respond to requests. someone running on their local PC in their home network needs to put their opensim server in the dmz or use nat rules to allow outside traffic back to their pc (and routed properly including dns)
basically this request has to return correct XML from OUTSIDE your network.

mis-matched ip can cause "identity" errors. ie if you login to your local computer as 127.0.0.1 and tp to another grid you have your external ip and your opensim server can deny it. (not zw)

also your system has to be able to "post" your avatar and worn assets to destination (ie zw) within 30 seconds. if you are running a fat AV with over 100k complexity that can cause this problem.
