Another flower that I love that I've not seen in Opensim is the Fuchsia, they're so pretty. Well I took a shot at making them and the original basket was over 900 prims but I fought with Blender and got it down to 39, which is still primmy but not so bad when you see the detail involved, and they make a great decoration for a porch or balcony or even in a window. I put them in a hanging basket and you can find them at the greenhouse in or garden center here at the mall. They are C/M/T and free, stop by and get your basket. Blessings and much love, Lavia

Marpil Grafenwalder: thank you very much!!! it is truly beautiful and the details are very well done ♥ 24 days ago
The beautiful souls in Florida are in our thoughts and prayers as this monster named Milton hits land. May God protect and shield you and deliver you from the ravages of yet another storm...our hearts go out to you.
"You know a kind word never goes unheard...but too often goes unsaid." It is interesting how much wisdom we can learn from, just by truly hearing the words to songs like this classic 1980's country hit from The Oak Ridge Boys...so everyone please remember to take a kind word into the street, and share it with everybody you meet....Everyday! :D

You know a smile never goes out of style
So brighten up the one that you wear.
Let it shine and you just might find
You’ll lighten up the load that you bear.

You know with all the trouble and sorrow in the world

It seems like the least we can do,
Just take that smile into the street
And share it with everybody you meet.

Everyday (everyday) I want to shake somebody’s hand
Everyday (everyday) I want make somebody know
(That thinks they can) that they can (yes they can)
Everyday (everyday) I want to try (I want to try)
To show my brothers and my sisters
That I want to help them along the way everyday, everyday.

You know a kind work never goes unheard
But too often goes unsaid.
And on the tongue of the old and the young
It’s swallowed up with pride instead.

You know with all the trouble and sorrow in the world
It seems like the least we can do
Just take a kind word into the street
And share it with everybody you meet.

Everyday (everyday) I want to shake somebody’s hand, yer
Everyday (everyday) I want make somebody know
(That thinks they can) that they can (yes they can)
Everyday (everyday) I want to try (I want to try)
To show my brothers and my sisters
That I want to help them along the way everyday, everyday.

If they’re lost I want to show them the sunshine
If they look tossed I want to throw them a lifeline.
I want the reach out my hand, (reach out) yer (a hand to hold)
Oh yeah, and let ’em know (let ’em know)
There’s a light (that there’s light) down at the end of the road.

If they’re lost I want to (show them the sunshine)
If they’re tossed I want to (throw them a lifeline).

Well everyday (everyday) I want to shake somebody’s hand, mmm
Everyday (everyday) I want make somebody know
(That thinks they can) that they can (yes they can)
Everyday (everyday) I want to try (I want to try)
To show my brothers and my sisters
That I want to help them along the way everyday, everyday.

Everyday, everyday (everyday) I want to shake somebody’s hand, yer
Everyday (everyday) I want make somebody know
(That thinks they can) that they can (yes they can)
And everyday (everyday) [fading]

I've been working on this turn of the century "Store House" which is a Store and a House. Back in the 19th century and early 20th century, and in fact some places still today, are designed so that folks can run their business from the first floor of their home which was generally kept separate from the living quarters of the house. This house is designed with walnut floors, sponge plaster ceilings, acacia wood trim and lattice (semi Tudor) windows. It has three chimneys which service all three floors. There was little to no indoor plumbing back then and the type of heat we have today did not exist so they had either a fireplace or coal or wood stove on each floor to provide adequate heat. Some homes did have hand pumps for water in them but most water was carried in buckets from a well nearby and heated on the coal or wood stoves to use for cooking, cleaning, laundry and bathing. If you happen to be working on a western or midwestern town setting, this build would be perfect for you. A little piece of history always adds a authentic touch to any region. It is full perm, however, it is total mesh so removing parts is not advisable, however you may re texture it, just understand that even back then, when they found wallpaper (most folks only had wood or plaster) they used the same wallpaper in every room, so if you re texture the entire inside of the build will be that texture. The walls are two faced in that you can put one texture on the outside of the building and a different one on the inside and all of the baseboards are a different texture. You may copy it and or transfer it or share it to others. Just have fun with it...Blessings and much love, Lavia

Something I've been working with for a while now was how to make a decent tree trunk and branches and finally, at last, I got one that doesn't look too bad. It's a North American Pignut Hickory, or what we always called a Hognut tree. They're beautiful and provide lots of shade especially when you're on a walk through the woods in the summer and they smell so good in the fall, and the hickory wood burning on a campfire or in a fireplace smells so good! Anyway, it's at the mall in the garden center waiting just for you to beautify your region. Pop in and take a look around and go a little "nuts"...pun intended. The tree is fully mesh and just 1 prim and it's full perm and free. Blessings and much love, Lavia
One of my latest creations with a little help from around Opensim, however the gladiolus and spider mums are my creations as is the arched flower bed. I used this at the Genesis Estates Realty office region and it looks great there so I decided to spruce it up a bit more and offer it to you in our Create A Scene Garden Center. It's free and full perm...Blessings and much love, Lavia
ANNOUNCING our newest department at the mall - "Heating & Cooling" and we'll have some cool stuff and hot deals for you!!! These two fireplaces are two of my original builds, but only two. There will be others and yes we'll have a few "imported" fireplaces and other items, but I will do my best to build many more items than are imported. What I have been doing is taking the houses I've built that have "heating" units and unlinking the units from the homes then placing them independently in the Heating & Cooling department. Stop in and have a look around though this department is only just beginning so it only has a few items in it..but more is coming, I promise! Blessings and much love, Lavia
Roz Carr, born Rosamond Halsey Carr, was an American humanitarian and author who became widely known for her work in Rwanda. Born in 1912, she spent much of her early life as a fashion illustrator and model in New York before marrying British explorer Kenneth Carr.

In 1949, Roz Carr moved to Rwanda with her husband, where they managed a pyrethrum (a type of chrysanthemum used in insecticide) plantation. After her marriage ended, she remained in Rwanda, which became her home for the rest of her life. During the Rwandan Genocide in 1994, she witnessed the horrors of the conflict firsthand. Following the genocide, Roz Carr dedicated herself to helping orphaned children, founding the Imbabazi Orphanage on her plantation to provide care and education to children who had lost their families.

Carr authored a memoir titled Land of a Thousand Hills: My Life in Rwanda, which recounts her experiences in the country, from the time she arrived in the 1940s to the years following the genocide. Her work earned her recognition as a significant humanitarian figure, and she continued to live in Rwanda until her death in 2006 at the age of 94.

Roz Carr's legacy lives on through the orphanage and the lives of the 400 children she helped.

Fred and Deb created Virunga with Roz Carr's plantation featured here, that you can visit and leave flowers and notes in a little mailbox at the house. This beautiful Pillar House was specially built for a dear friend's region to accommodate a people in her RP story. I am also making it available to others in Open Sim who would like it for their own regions. It features 3 levels, the first level being open for comfy outdoor activities like picnic or just lounging, the 2nd level is nice for living and cooking space and the top floor is for sleeping and bathing. It has a wrap around porch and is constructed of granite in various colors, polished brass and beautiful dark wengwood. Constructed to last many years, theoretically, of course. It can be found in the "Ancient Builds" department at the mall. It is full perm and free and waiting just for you! Blessings and much love, Lavia.
Stop by The Artist's Brush Art Shop and get your art supplies, there are easels, tripods, canvases, brushes, oil paints in sets or individual, Artist's Pallets, colored pencils and there are plenty of art pieces for you to enjoy and purchase for $0, full perm too, all original creations of yours truly. And if you have artwork you'd like to showcase, we can fix you up at the Showcase Plateau with your own little gallery and up to 1500 prims. Stop in and visit and we'll talk. Blessings and much love, Lavia.

Barber Shop
The only scripted items are the barber pole, the waiting bench, the curtain, and the door. The barber chair is a BYOA (Bring Your Own Animations) item, but hopefully someone will find this of use.

Pickup is at the OSW Exclusive gift area, located below. If you have issues arriving there directly, you can use the OSW door to your left once arriving in the subway to access the exclusive area.

Happy Independence Day, to my fellow Americans, and those celebrating!

-Hug a soldier (or handshake)
-Thank a veteran
-Be grateful for your freedom and rights; many have fought and died to uphold them!
-Remember what it means to be the UNITED States of America---Together we stand strong; Divided we fall
-Love thy neighbor, despite your differences
-Remember it is about more than just fireworks and "blowing shit up", 'Murica. ;)

American Girls and American Guys
We'll always stand up and salute
We'll always recognize
When we see Old Glory Flying
There's a lot of men dead
So we can sleep in peace at night
When we lay down our head

My daddy served in the army
Where he lost his right eye
But he flew a flag out in our yard
'Til the day that he died
He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me
To grow up and live happy
In the land of the free

Now this nation that I love
Has fallen under attack
A mighty sucker punch came flyin' in
From somewhere in the back
Soon as we could see it clearly
Through our big black eye
Man, we lit up your world
Like the 4th of July

Hey, Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will fly
And there's gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom
Start ringin' her bell
And it'll feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Oh, brought to you Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue

Oh, justice will be served
And the battle will rage
This big dog will fight
When you rattle his cage
And you'll be sorry that you messed with
The U.S. of A
'Cause we'll put a boot in your ass
It's the American way

Hey, Uncle Sam
Put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty
Started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will fly
And there's gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom
Start ringin' her bell
And it'll feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Oh, brought to you Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue
Oh, oh, of the Red, White and Blue
Oh, oh, of my Red, White and Blue

Bad news (good news for all you Linda Kellie haters): Zadaroo seems to be offline.

Good news (bad news for all you Linda Kellie haters), in case you haven't heard it yet: The Zadaroo content has been uploaded to the Internet Archive late last year.

Find it this way: https://archive.org/search?query=zadaroo

Also, I've just heard the recommendation to take local copies.

Aurora Starchild: Would you mind telling a bit more about Zadaroo to us newbiews? Thanks! 12 months ago
A fully legal mesh radio with 48 minutes of real content from the 1920s and 30s, inter spaced with the station call-sign and various audio ephemera. It is based on the first consumer/everyday use radios available in the era.
Unavoidable: you may hear an audio skip or repeat- this depends on your internet, your viewer, and how laggy of a place in your sim you put it. Long audio sets do this in OS.

Have fun- don't put it on SL, sell it, or tell people it's your creation from scratch.

This is a grid-wide event with multiple merchants and sales and freebies galore! There are merchant teleport boards like the one pictured that are spread around the grid for convenience.

Lunaria Emporium is holding its biggest sale of the year. All of my castles and entertainment venues will be 75% off Kitely Market prices, and all my other smaller items displayed everywhere will be free, including some Egyptian pieces and some brand new Art Deco pieces and furniture not yet available anywhere.

The colors of opensim are changing ! Still in beta-test, the new Linden viewer will incorporate a new color model. We don't know when and if it will be ported to Firestorm. But Opensimulator has yet implemented the LSL functions llLinear2sRGB and llsRGB2Linear. Fearless Atlasgrid's testers has dived in. Left colorchecker : old colors. Right : new colors.

Quintonia now VivoSim
As VivoSim seems to have got over the expected teething issues, I will now be shutting down Quintonia on Monday (10 April) - If you have a quintonia account, it has been migrated to Vivosim (https://vivosim.net)

a little easter present..a cute easter basket with little chicks and fitting table!

Quintonia is evolving!
It is migrating to its new home called VivoSim & at some point Quintonia servers will shut down. When that happens, you will still be able to continue using Quintonia items, but the HUD & Exchange will no longer function. However, I hope you will have decided to replace those with the new VivoSim replacements, which already offer some great new features with plenty more planned!

Sure Is Nice Seeing More And More Hyper Grid Friends , It's Lovely To Meet you And Thank You For Visiting And Becoming Our New Friends :)

Overlooking King David's palace and the Tabernacle in the background. I hope you'll visit and enjoy this region which is an effort to acknowledge the beauty of the land of Israel and Jerusalem in the time of King David and the architecture. Such a beautiful culture. Perhaps we'll see you there. Shalom.
Well they're here, after a long battle with those ornery rabbits, the carrots are ready! You can find Gram-Z's carrot patch at our Mall region.... "grid.genesis-roleplay.org:8002:Masala Al Kahov" .... the box comes with a single carrot, a carrot bunch, a row of 6, two rows of 6 and 10 rows of six, all of them only 1 prim each, so you can have your little carrot patch as big or small as you like. They make nice additions to "prep" scenes and they're just fun. I had such fun making them and I hope you'll enjoy using them for your garden, farm or kitchen scenes. Blessings - GramZ
My 2022 Christmas gift for the community, at least for the Ruth2 v4 users:

Nail polish for Ruth2 v4.

Two boxes with BoM nail polish in 31 colours altogether. One box contains the 22 original colours from the Ruth 2.0 nail polish applier plus one bonus colour. The other one contains the 8 nail polish colours from the Ruth2 v4 HUD, but now covering the whole nail. Both sets come with a Readme notecard with instructions.

They're currently only available in the Westend (https://opensimworld.com/hop/80119) at my R2 shop (at 44/67/22, opposite the Statue of Liberty), but I've passed copies to Ai Austin, and I expect it to appear on the official R2 sim soon. I'll also roll them out to other sims offering Ruth2 v4.

Both boxes are full-perm (or should be; drop me a note if they aren't) and licensed under Creative Commons CC0. You can copy the boxes or buy the content.

Jupiter Rowland: Well, Austin was surprisingly fast. He added both boxes to the official sim (hg.osgrid.80:RuthAndroth) yesterday. 2 years ago

I wanted to clarify my stance as a rebel. To me a rebel is ANYONE who takes a stand for freedom, without government, corporate, or any movements/associations/organizations controlling those freedoms of speech, livelyhood, happiness, or actions that do not harm, or endanger the freedoms, or life of others. We ALL have a right to disagree with others, and to even voice our opinions, but ultimately? How someone lives, what they do is their own personal choice, and right, and must be respected, and treated as such. I disagree with many things, but respect what others believe, and feel. Yah I pray. I believe in God, Jesus, and our Constitution. That is simply my personal beliefs. I respect anyones choices, beliefs, and opinions as their own, and their right. It also means too stubborn to give up, or die to me! haha! ;)
Prayers, love, hugs n high 5's to EVERYONE. :)
