Another fine classic coming to you from the Homelandz Public Library...Kidnapped, by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Kidnapped is a historical fiction adventure novel by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, written as a boys' novel and first published in the magazine Young Folks from May to July 1886. The novel has attracted the praise and admiration of writers as diverse as Henry James, Jorge Luis Borges, and Hilary Mantel. A sequel, Catriona, was published in 1893.
The narrative is written in English with some dialogue in Lowland Scots, a Germanic language that evolved from an earlier incarnation of English.
Kidnapped is set around real 18th-century Scottish events, notably the "Appin Murder" and the Highland Clearances, which occurred in the aftermath of the Jacobite rising of 1745. Many of the characters are real people, including one of the principals, Alan Breck Stewart. The political situation of the time is portrayed from multiple viewpoints, and the Scottish Highlanders are treated sympathetically.

- Découvrir un code ? résoudre des énigmes permettrait d'obtenir un bout du code ; à la fin, celui qui détient l'ensemble du code obtient "quelque chose" mais quoi ? -> Lot(s) à définir (tenir compte qu'il peut y avoir plusieurs gagnants)
- Faire le parcours soit selon un ordre alphabétique des régions ? A priori, option non retenue puisque pour découvrir le code, ordre alphabétique pas forcément nécessaire, il faut obligatoirement être passé sur toutes les régions participant.

Island of the Blue Dolphins is a 1960 children's novel by American author Scott O'Dell, which tells the story of a girl named Karana, who is stranded alone for years on an island off the California coast. It is based on the true story of Juana Maria, a Nicoleño Native American left alone for 18 years on San Nicolas Island during the nineteenth century.
Island of the Blue Dolphins won the Newbery Medal in 1961. It was adapted into a film of the same name in 1964.
^This is a beloved novel from my childhood, and it still tells such an incredible tale worth re-reading, well into adulthood. These books and novels are arranged alphabetically, and the waypoint takes you right to the correct shelf. You won't likely land right at that shelf. You will need to paste it into your map a 2nd time, after landing at the region. Common words like "the" are ignored. for example, i put The Holy Bible under B for Bible, making it the 2nd shelf on the back of the first floor. i for Island is at the end of that same row. in the menu, the item is named IslandBlueDo because menu popups limit to 12 characters. These should be full perm so you can rename to its full name later if you wish. any perms issues i will fix asap. been super slammed trying to get so much done both rl and online. Island of the Blue Dolphins is a 1960 children's novel by American author Scott O'Dell, which tells the story of a girl named Karana, who is stranded alone for years on an island off the California coast. It is based on the true story of Juana Maria, a Nicoleño Native American left alone for 18 years on San Nicolas Island during the nineteenth century.
Island of the Blue Dolphins won the Newbery Medal in 1961. It was adapted into a film of the same name in 1964.
^This is a beloved novel from my childhood, and it still tells such an incredible tale worth re-reading, well into adulthood. These books and novels are arranged alphabetically, and the waypoint takes you right to the correct shelf. You won't likely land right at that shelf. You will need to paste it into your map a 2nd time, after landing at the region. Common words like "the" are ignored. for example, i put The Holy Bible under B for Bible, making it the 2nd shelf on the back of the first floor. i for Island is at the end of that same row. in the menu, the item is named IslandBlueDo because menu popups limit to 12 characters. These should be full perm so you can rename to its full name later if you wish. any perms issues i will fix asap. been super slammed trying to get so much done both rl and online. I had this ad up sometime back, and I thought I'd run it again. This is Lavine Mansion which I was encouraged to make after I accidentally got a copybotted version of a friends creation. I wanted a mansion very much and one that was beautiful and had a Victorian flare to it, so I built one and there is nothing more gratifying that building your own. This mansion has a huge living room, dining room, kitchen, great hall, sun porch and patio as well as a total of 10 rooms and a full attic which could be modified to add more rooms. It also has a cute little balcony on the front and is encased in red brick with concrete fancy molding and a cinder block foundation as well as black cast railing and large concrete pillars. You truly have to see it and tour it to appreciate it. Stop by and select the Lavine Mansion on the Teleporter. It is free, fully linked, copyable, modifiable and transferrable.
